The Voice 2022

The new season starts tonight, I am looking forward to it (now it's only one time a year). I am glad Gwen and Blake won't be sitting next to each other, I fully expect Blake to let Gwen get a contestant if they are both interested in them like he has in the past. I may be in the minority but I like Kelly Clarkson and will miss her, maybe she skipped this season to spend more time with her kids.

I, too, enjoy The Voice. The first few episodes are my favorite because of the chair turns. Some contestants that get three or so chairs surprise me. I think it is because I cannot appreciate the sweet, soft folk voice.

Anyway, it will be fun to watch the judges build their teams. The coaching is where the show is won. Selecting the correct song at the right time makes all the difference.

Gwen and Blake are annoying already. She talks him up, he talks her, Gwen even said something to the effect they're a twofer. This is a competition you need to be independent of each other.

Gwen and Blake should not be allowed on together. Now that they are married they are pushing others to each of them and definitely working together. Totally no fair to the show and not interesting.

I knew of this program but had never watched even a second of it until last night. I am so glad I did. I loved it. I loved some of the looks that Gwen and Blake gave each other. I adore the interaction between the entire panel. Great show, I will try to remember to check the schedule for next airing.

never liked Gwen on the show and like it even less now. she keeps walking over to his chair talking to him and she's a copycat where she can't make up her mind about who to pick or not. she'll pick someone only if someone else has hit the buzzer.
saw the show last night, but won't keep watching.

@Justholdingon I totally agree! I didn't like it when Gwen was on when they were dating! She does watch to see who hits the buzzer before hitting it. Blake is not even fighting for them to be on his team. The last girl on lastnight had said she at first wanted Blake but he wasn't fighting for her. It was a bad decision to have both of them on.

I am a big fan of the show. I am glad that it's down to showing only once a year instead of twice a year. I like Gwen and Blake as artists individually. They are just annoying when they are on the show together.

The coaches should be making decisions on who to push the button for depending upon what talent they are hearing, do you think that you can coach them. Not what the other judges are doing. I saw a lot of that last night. If another judge pushes the button then I will push the button for them. That's not how the show is supposed to go.

I thought some of the contestants chose the wrong judges as well, but that's for them to regret later. For example the Cuban country singer. That had an ok voice. Should have picked Blake, since country is what you wish to sing not Camilla,who is very talented, but she is not in the lane that you said you wish to go down.

I really did not think the contestants that did make it on to teams last night were all that special. I guess time will tell.

Also, I miss Kelley. I know that a lot of people did not care for her, but I found her to be such a crack up.

@beckyb1012 There is another episode tonight at 8 Eastern. It is aired on Monday and Tuesday while the blind auditions are being done. It may then go to Mondays only. If you get into the show, you may want to check listings each week.

I forgot to mention I didn't like Blake muting Camila and John's mic, it wasn't funny, I'll bet he wouldn't dare do that to Gwen. I think Blake has lost his mojo, he didn't get one contestant to join his team last night, good!

I debated watching when i saw that Gwen was doing the show........can't take her.....she always pushes the button

when Blake does...acts too cutesy for a woman her age...totally a lousy coach and even Blake doesn't seem to have as much fun when she is there.........and the back and forth between them is nauseating......................and you can tell she is jealous regarding any attention to him.........................

I will try to ignore her as long as i can.........i am one of the few it seems that enjoy Kelly C. because i think she is a good coach...........To me John isn't as ":into" it as much as in the beginning

Yes....she was totally out of line this past week...even leavng her seat when Blake won a contestant saying that now they have 2 for 1. And that now the young guy was their new "son'....omg...........I don;'t think John or the other judge are liking the teaming up on them or the sicking love stuff...................the shows producers should really have a sit down talk with Blake and Gwen and explain it is a 4 WAY contest...not a partnership.

Every season Blake goes to the finale with most of his team intact. I have to wonder if this is a vote for the contestant or more for Blake. I think every team should have at least one contestant in the finale representing their team.

i think the contestant should get to the finals, on their own merit/talent and not by what team they are on. If team leaders don't have anyone in the finals, their choices weren't strong enough.

I like many was very disappointed in the results last night. There was no way Blake's three should have gone thru (I like Brodie). Watching the great singers in the bottom 4 was sad. I have watched most seasons of the Voice, but I think I am done.

@Jordan2 I respectfully disagree with you that each team should have a contestant in the finale. The finale should be about the contestants, not the coaches.

I do agree with you that sometimes the votes are for the coach and not the contestants. Bodie (on Blake's team) should definitely be in the finale and is. I predicted that he would win in the blind auditions.

I was shocked that his other two team members went through. The four that had to sing at the end were all better than his other two members. I was very disappointed last night.

I am happy with the finalists. I am a fan of country music and those five are the ones I enjoy watching/listening to the most.

When Adam Levine was on and he didn't have anyone left for the finale, they did change it so every coach had one in the finale. People had complained about it and they changed it back. I myself, can't believe that Brayden on Blake's team is in the finale. He is cute, but he really can't sing. I thought Parishta on John's team should of gotten through.
