All Things DAYS--SEPTEMBER 2022--possible spoilers

Well, I think our beloved show moves to Peacock this month. It still shows on my DVR guide (Direct) for the next 2 weeks on NBC, but I'm pretty sure I read as of September 1, it will move--maybe someone can find updated information?

I can't believe we are moving into the 4th quarter of the year already. Maybe the kidnappings can stop. The one I remember the most is when Hope was kidnapped and seemingly destroyed. That was back in the days that our show could actually make me cry. I remember when my mom and I were watching one day and something emotional was happening and we were both crying and my dad came in and said what's wrong. We kind of gestured at the tv and he saw it was DAYS and said "what is wrong with you two?" It was kind of funny.

Will you continue to watch once it moves to streaming? Hope you all have a good month! For those keeping track--my oncology appointment went well and I'm clear until January!

It starts on Peacock on Sept 12th. I've watched since the beginning with my mom. I won't pay to see it. It's my understanding that you can watch it on the free Peacock streaming platform the day after for. I will try to watch Mondays on Tues etc. If that doesn't work I'm out. Writing isn't good anymore and I'm over all these repeated story lines.

I may sign up for the paying level of Peacock, not sure. Having watched from the begining, it's hard to give it up. Plus, I'm retired and it's a part of my daily routine.

I remember watching when Julie was living with Dr. and Mrs. Horton. She learned that she was pregnant with David. I do not want to see NBC move the show. I am not certain people in rural parts of the country have the internet strength to watch TV on an app. When I saw those first episodes I was on a farm in rural Texas watching via a large outdoor antenna.

Daytime TV fills a lonely void in people's lives who are in remote areas or left alone in their homes. I wish the people making these decisions had a better understanding of real life across the country instead of just life in the big cities.

@On It Agree. In fact, pretty sure I can speak for most, if not all, of us on this forum. We think it's a terrrrrible idea to move the show. Many have said they will not continue watching even though they've followed the show for a millon years. I don't know why everything has to change. Sometimes, you just need to leave things alone.

I first started watching it at the beginning--we lived in the mountains and it was the only channel we got. My mom was a stay at home mom and she watched The Doctors, Another World and Days. They were all half hour shows back then. Granted I was only 5 and the stories didn't mean anything to me, but I remember them well. I'll still turn it on once in awhile. It's annoying to have to load up my streaming device.

Sadly its all about the money...........so instead they keep taking on the ridiculous game show remakes...(Allen Ludden would roll over in his grave if he saw the mess of a classic game show and host of the new Password show)

The hosts and shows don't even come close to the quality of the old shows..............and don't forget the intensely boring TALK shows.....................so bad and political these days................its a shame....soon we will have to all pay more for all TV real shows. And also the sitcom remakes they have redone to fit the diversity drama of today.....none worth investing into...sad

In a video on Facebook, Deidre Hall is in the Horton living room talking about how she considers us loyal viewers to be like family. She goes on to invite us to make the transition to Peacock along with DAYS and how the Salem families, Hortons, DiMeras, etc. love us. She thanked us for our support and would see us on Peacock.

Good News, I wrote to Soaps.com a few days ago and asked if they will still be posting daily Days summaries , just got my reply, their answer was, ABSOLUTELY!! so, a great way to keep up if you are not watching,. My mind is not made up yet, I do get Peacock for free. Just not into streaming.

Today on the conference table was enough for me. I see where this show is going-and I don't mean Peacock.

When it was John and Marlena I wasn't shocked because it didn't get as graphic. But this one toDAY was pretty repulsive.
