Mother! Has anyone seen this movie?

It's from 2017 or 2018 I think, and it stars Jennifer Lawrence and Javier Bardem? I had never seen it, but watched it for the 1st and only time last night..

It is so crazy and just weird and horrible and I just couldn't make any sense of it, but read up a bit on it this morning-what a strange crazy movie.....I just couldn't figure it out at all, and her husband who was played by Javier seem so strange...Anyone else remember seeing it?

@Jordan2 Well it is an older movie, from I believe 2018, so you very well could hav eseen it....It is just so disturbing on so many levels!!!!!! Especially the last 1/2....

Awhile ago I started to watch this movie. Ed Harris was also in it, right??? I lasted about 20 minutes. Seemed to me another is this woman nuts or not movie. Not my cup of tea.

Yes, I have watched Mother. Very strange, did not make sense. Kept me involved because I kept thinking I would figure it out. Never did!!!

I saw it and to me it was way too metaphorical for me to grasp the meaning of the entire movie. It left me with a 'what-the-*%^&' feeling. That movie didn't get very good ratings.

Javier Bardem also played a creepy role in No Country For Old Men so I can only imagine what Mother is like.

I tend to avoid all that director's movies - I find them crazy and sometimes disturbing. That's why I will probably avoid "The Whale."

Mother is a very strange movie. I just watched another movie that's disturbing with Rebecca Hall and Tim Roth it's called Resurrection. It's a new movie on demand 😳

I saw it and I doubt it helped either of the main star's careers. It was pretty awful.🥺

Tim Roth used to be an excellent actor esp in his villainous role in the Rob Roy movie along with his roles in The Legend of 1900 and The Song of Names . Seems alot of recent movies he's been in are flops

This movie was extremely odd and confusing. I'm sure some of the metaphors went over my head and that's fine with me because it was unsettling and disturbing.

I saw it and it made such little sense i couldn't tell if it was supposed to be scary or not. The only reason I watched the whole thing was I thought maybe all would be revealed at the end and I would understand it. No.

I thought it was a horrible movie !! Kept wondering WHY ? She should have found a way to leave for heavens sake 😠 It was a very disturbing movie definitely and ended with no closure I felt . What a waste of my tine. Oh and Michele Pfiffer's character was just evil . I don't feel it did her career any good

I gave up on the ka rayz ie nesss of this movie. I don't want to work so hard to be entertained. I quit after about 20 minutes too.
