Well, well, well, Michael won POV for the fourth (I think) time and now is in total control. The POV comp was OTEV, and Terrance of all people came in second to Michael and may have thrown it to Michael. Terrance wanted Michael to keep the noms the same so they could get out Monte this week.

And Michael's plan is to use the POV and put up Kyle/Daniel and get Daniel out. In a chat with us just minutes ago, Michael said his ideal final five would be himself, Taylor, Brittany, Indy, and Jasmine. (Getting there with Monte, Joe, Turner, Alyssa, and Kyle in the house will be a tad tricky.) He doesn't think he can beat Taylor in the final two (he's probably right) so he'll need to cut her at some point.

Much of the house was in favor of getting out Monte this week (They all know they can't beat him in the final two and he's on the block, so it's a good opportunity to flush him.) Michael is currently against that however and seems intent on keeping the Leftovers together for now.

Michael's big problem is that no matter who wins HOH in the future, he'll be a big target. And there's no guarantee he'll get picked to play in the POV. Four POV wins and one HOH win with multiple second-place finishes make it clear he's a comp beast. He's also got a great social game. Those two things make him a huge target.

Even his supposed allies will take a shot at him if they get the chance. He can't win HOH this coming week. Odds are he won't be a nominee upfront, so his chances of getting to play in the POV aren't great. If he can't play in the POV and he can't be HOH, he's going to have a huge bullseye painted on him. You'd have to be an idiot to be in that house with a shot at him and not take it. The Leftovers don't need him for a number after this week. They have a majority of the votes even without him.

I have a strong suspicion that at this time next week we'll be watching and waiting for the POV ceremony where Michael and Brittany go on the block with Michael the clear target. Who's a bigger threat in the house? Anyone? Can anyone seriously justify keeping him and argue that someone else (Alyssa, Indy, Kyle, Turner, etc.) is a bigger threat? If Michael doesn't win POV next Saturday, he's likely a goner. Who's the house's target if not him?

The Alyssa/Kyle showmance seems to be running out of steam. The more Alyssa has learned about Kyle the lower the flame has gone. She now knows he's thirty and still living with his mom. He makes shirtless Tik Tok videos. She's starting to see more of an "ick" factor than a "he's hot" factor. Not good omens for Kyle. That flame of desire is sputtering a bit. Kyle is the lovesick puppy and Alyssa is in the "I'm not so sure this is a good idea" phase of the relationship. We'll have to see where it goes from here.

They should get the yard back today and everyone gets a chance to decompress for a day. Then tomorrow the POV ceremony, where if things stay as they are, Kyle/Daniel will go on the block with Daniel the target.

Lots of scheming and talking to us going on this morning. Taylor wants to take out Terrance next week. I'm not sure why. Terrance is planning something to keep him and Daniel safe this week. Michael's got the Chinese checkers board and is counting votes for and against him in various final two combos. And most of the rest are still napping.

By the way, we have a show tonight. We'll see Michael win HOH and then his nominations.
