Peaky Blinders Season 6

Season 6 just dropped on Netfix. I watched the first episode.I have seen all seasons and this episode did not disappoint. Anya Taylor Joy is excellent as the wife of Polly's son, Michael. If you can handle violence, check it out. Cian Murphy is not to be missed.

We also watched episode 1 of the last season last night. It is very good, only 6 episodes for the last season and then it it done.

I really like this series but it is very dark, lots of violence and at times the accents are hard to understand but it is very well done and I would recommend.

Any series that has the main character recite a poem by William Butler Yeats is OK in my book.

Great series...When series first came out took a couple of times to get into it. Found that putting on closed caption helped a lot and made following story line easier. Will miss the character of Polly.

I love this series! A bit dark and violent but it is about an Irish gang/mafia. Intriguing really! I'll be sad when it's over, falling in love with Thomas Shelby all over again, nicest eyes on the planet

Isn't that SO TRUE about his eyes.

BTW-----I read that there will be a movie as well. This final season is a short one with just 6 episodes. Definitely need the closed captions on this show because of the accents.

I watched Season 1 first episode and liked it very much.

Tried watching and we ended up turning it off, partly because the accents

were hard to understand. I know if we stick with it, eventually we'll adjust

to the accents, so based on the reviews I think it deserves another shot

eventually.

@yellowrose I know what you mean about the accents.

I listened to my grandparents that came to the US from Ireland growing up so I am accustomed to that accent.

That said, I still have difficulty on shows picking up everything they are saying. "Belfast" was particularly difficult to understand for me.

Enjoying the last season on E2, I miss Polly and will be sad when I finish the series... cc is definitely a must for me, I don't want to miss a single word! Yes, there is just something about Tommy!

I am on Season 3, Episode 2 and I absolutely love the show!

I am totally immersed in Tommy Shelby and his cast of characters.
