For Those Missing “I Love Lucy”

“I Love Lucy” has not been on any of my channels for awhile, May or may not be same for others. For those interested, MeTV will have a five hour marathon of the show on Sunday (6/12) starting @ noon eastern time.

@chrystaltree - Yup there are many of us that do miss Lucy and the comedies from long ago rather than the junk that is called entertainment today. And no, not only on this board.

I could watch her every day like I did every afternoon after school at 5:00. It comes on weekdays on one of my channels from 12:00 to 1:00 but I am at work eating my lunch at my desk. Snow days and vacation days I watch.

Thank you, @Kindaglitzy for posting. One of my favorite shows, so much so that DH bought the set of DVD's for me for Christmas a few years ago.

@Johnnyeager , your post was "spot on" IMO.

@proudlyfromNJ , I also enjoy watching that show as well. Don Knotts was a great asset to that show as well as his role on Three's Company playing their landlord, Mr. Furley.

Sadly, we also no longer get Decades. I wish we did. I liked the assortment of shows.

I wonder why Hallmark stopped airing the show in the early am/overnght time slot where they had it for years (except for their 19 months of christmas).

I am glad they brought Cheers back. I keep several of those on hand and record each one so I always have a bank. It's been nice, as it had been a while since I last saw Cheers.

It just seems like ILL would be one they would favor. It's pretty lilly white and innocent. Just yesterday I was thinking about that episode in the last season when the guys built that bbq out back. Lucy lost her ring (again!) and she and Ethel tore that thing apart overnight looking for it. Of course it wasn't there. Then they built it back sooooooo badly.
