What is funny it is the only reality series i watch , i just get a kick out of it . That being said , what is wrong with people thinking they would risk going to jail over doing dishonest things.

There's so much dysfunction in this family, that they try to turn into a comedy. No humor to be found in this situation. They won't be able to spin a prison sentence.

The US Attorney's Office confirmed that the Chrisley's have not been remanded to jail. In a court filing late Tuesday afternoon, a judge ruled that they must remain under home confinement until their sentencing date. They shall be restricted to their residence at all times except for employment; education; religious service; medical, substance abuse, or mental health treatment; attorney visits; court appearances; court-ordered obligations; or other activities as pre-approved by the Court or probation officer until further notice of the Court. Defendants must alert probation officers to any spending over $1,000. All other conditions are to remain the same the ruling said. So far, a sentencing date has not be determined.

@colliemom4 Just guessing they won't be spending a lot of time for religious services!

I know someone who used to watch this series and I would sometimes watch with her but I alwys found them to be creepy.

Definitely, they really thought they could flaunt all of this money, and by the way never knew what he did for a living to have this endless amount of money. I remember him getting a condo for his daughter. It always seemed like they had infinite stream of money.

What will happen to little Chloe the grand daughter, they have custody of her I believe. Not sure the older son and daughter are mature enough. Not sure if they have any money they seem to be supported by the parents. What about Todds mom, is she supported, she is with them a lot. Oh, they have a younger son too who I beiieve is a minor

What I'd like to see is some jail time - enough to humble them a bit - but then having to pay back 10 times what they didn't pay in taxes. This would be a deterrent to others (hopefully) and the taxpayers wouldn't be paying for their stay.

Ok, so I looked it up. bank fraud and tax evasion.

They are going to appeal. of course.

30 years imo would be just wrong - violent criminals don't get that sort of sentence (or even near it) these days.

there is a possibility they actually are innocent too.

I was a regular watcher of this show for several seasons, and was a big fan of Nanny Faye's antics.

Right now I'm still processing some of the information that came out of this hearing, which will undoubtedly have a negative impact on their TV show. I look for their popularity to fade quickly.
