BIG SKY 5/5/22 SPOILERS

Big Sky returned last night.

Scarlet and Phoebe have been spotted in Idaho. Jerrie and Mark are heading out before she can cross the border into Canada.

Tonya pulled off her first kill-Jenny's CI. She thought it would be "harder".

Donno said she is a natural. Those two are Ronald and Scarlet all over again.

Ford shot Sheriff Tubb.

The series is starting to drag; hopefully they will stop circling the airport and bring the Bhullars down soon.

I really enjoy this show and was thought the season ending could have been better. What do you think?

This was adapted from a book by C J Box. I saw the author's name in books on a clearance table and read the first sentences ... started something like "Cassy Dewel was starting a new life .... "

Title of the book wasn't related to anything else I've seen, but I recognized the character name immediately.

Anyway: This was the season finale: Major Spoilers!

Travis takes Veer at gunpoint, and Ren knows this.

Travis takes Veer to that hole in the ground but Jenny shows up in time to prevent Veer being killed, althoug he does get beaten badly by Travis(not fatally).

He also whispers to Travis that Kate is still alive.

Fast foward: Veer is in the hospital and Jag kills him by smothering him. Ren is there and takes Jag's hand away after it is over. We do not know Ren is there until that moment.

Alice (Veer's girlfriend) dupes Veer into signing a power of attorney making her head of the business. Ren wanted Donno to kill her but: she tells Ren to either buy her out or work for her. Ren buys her out and Alice leaves. I knew she was up to something. If Donno killed her, nothing would be left to Ren and Jag.

Scarlet leaves Phoebe at Cassie's home (breaks in) with instructions to have Phoebe's aunt come and take custody. Scarlet also leaves the hard drive with the information about the Syndicate who was traffiking the girls.

Scarlet drives off into the sunset, so to speak. (She manages to kill one of the men assigned to kill her and he tells her she will never get away.)

Sheriff Tubbs recruits a sheriff from Texas to fill in - Beau. His ex-wife and daughter live in Montana. Nice looking, sort of. And a flirtation starts with Cassie. Hmmm.

Jenny has Travis locked up for beating up Veer-then sets out to transfer him to his handlers. Instead she lets him go on the side of a road to get his answers about Kate. Sheriff Beau knows this but doesn't care.

Here is what I think for the next season:

Jerrie is still working with the authorities near Canada to stop Scarlet.

I think Scarlet will still show up in the next season-probably killed by the Syndicate.

Travis will convince his handlers to reinvestigate whether Kate is alive or not. Or the actor may be leaving so we may have seen the last of Travis.

Cassie and Beau will "connect" leaving Lindor open to a relationship with Jerrie.

The Bhullars (who I find extremely boring) may track down Alice and kill her anyway; but Alice will be long gone with all her money after being bought out.

Somebody kills Donno. Please make it so.

Ren gets a new hair-do and Jag shaves, cuts his hair, and takes a shower. LOL

There could be a rival cartel showing up to challenge the Bhullars, too.

I must have missed some episodes. I know Cassie's father was killed, but what happened to her son? I was glad to hear it was renewed, but it's moving to Wednesday nights next season.

i agree with most of this but it will be Jenny and Beau and not Cassie. I think the ship has sailed for Jerri and Lindor.

I think we will be getting some new bodies. I hope Beau sticks around, even when the sheriff comes back.

i think Phebe is too easy for the syndicate, to find.

we need another storyline besides drug cartel.

@Stray @10sluvr I didn't know Jerrie was leaving the series.

So that leaves out Lindor and Jessie getting together.

I wonder if Jenny would want to bother at this point with another relationship-with her husband (being with Cassie before) and now Travis off the rails - she hasn't had the best of it with either man.

I like Beau-brings something new and fresh.

I agree about another storyline-the Bhullars are a major *yawn*-typical and nothing new to see there at all.

It took me a bit to recognize Dallas Roberts who played Milton in The Walking Dead. I usually do not pay much attention to actor names that are guests stars.
