Shaq On Stephen Colbert Last Night.

I normally don't watch the whole show. I do the monologue and the guest if it is someone I enjoy.

Last night Shaq was on. I was going to flip to something else. Obviously I know who he is even though I hate basketball. I am so glad I kept watching. He was funny and charming. Shaq has a cookbook out and he and Colbert made brownies.

Man, you know he is big, but when he came out Colbert, who is 5' 11" looked like a toy next to him.

I saw him. I thought he was very entertaining. Many dead pan responses to Colbert's questions.

I agree, it was an entertaining exchange. And the height diffference was a bit jarring, Colbert had to keep looking up to ask Shaq questions. Shaq has some good comic timing.

I enjoyed the Shaq appearance on the Colbert show. Shaq is funny and quick with his wit. Not being a basketball fan I am not familiar with all the players. The insight I had of him was a loving family man with a positive outlook. It was a nice interview.

I swear Shaq could have gently put one hand on the top of Colbert's head, lifted him up, turned and set him down across the stage without breathing hard.

Years ago, my daughter lived in Orlando at the same time that Shaq had a magnificent home there. By chance, he occasionally worked out at the same health club as my daughter. She told me he was the most gigantic human being she had ever seen, a gentle giant. He really is huge!

Shaq is often on ShopHQ selling his cooking appliances, he has a grill, and I believe an Air Fryer, he also lends his name and is part of the design process of some of he Invicta Watches as well. He is always very funny, and very kind to the callers and hosts when he is on!

I still have the episode unwatched, so I look forward to it even more. I had a lot of shows from last night that I'm still getting through.

Sounds like fun. Colbert is a great guy, smart man, funny man, great family man (I also love his wife, Evie!) and I'm sure he had a blast with the Shaq.

I, too, tuned in to Colbert last night to see his response to Jon Batiste's (my new fav) big Grammys' win and continued to watch and enjoy the whole show.

I remember when Shaq was spokesperson for some car line, Buick maybe. They got him into the car but it looked like a toy. I can't imagine his fitting in nowdays, he's even bigger. What a genuine nice guy.

That mixer looks like a Barbie toy in comparison to Shaq. I have always heard great things about Shaq.

@Vivian @You must be talking about him living in Windermere.

My daughter lived in Windermere. If you see the advertisement on TV for the woman who's building "the biggest house" in the US, she lives there too, as does a lot of other famous people.

Mydaughter used to see him tooling around in his car and at a few parties. She didn't know him but at the parties she said she was once introduced fora minute.

She said if you are ever standing near him, you never forget how big he is.

She did say he was very gracious and. Entertaining.

Sorry I missed Shaq on Colbert's show I would have enjoyed that. You really don't realize how big and tall those basketball players are until you see them up close. When lived in Ft.Lee, NJ many years ago, Patrick Ewing came into the supermarket and I mean I was surprised at how big and tall he is, obviously the tallest person there.

Annabelle, my daughter lived very close to Windermere, between Gotha and Ocoee in the northwest suburbs of Orlando. We often passed the mansions around the various lakes in the area. They were beautiful. There was one enclave, Isleworth, I think. That's where Shaq lived.
