I liked the new show about a bowler, How We Roll.

CBS’ How We Roll may be inspired by the true story of professional bowler Tom Smallwood. Pete Holmes plays a 'regular guy' that has a family and needs more money. Hes always stuck with a factory job with bowling as his hobby. He's always been a superior bowler. Good enough to go pro, but never attempting to try. His bowling stats at the alley where he had been bowling for years were proof he had the ability. Tom's wife and friends convince him to try and go for it. This is a light hearted show that looks like it has lots of potential. The cast delivered good performances and the writing was good. This is a feel good show.

@Mindy D Thanks for that. I forgot to record it but will be sure to set my DVR for the series. I like the premise. I did read that it was based on a true story. It sounds really good.

I woke up after my 'exhausted & in my recliner nap' and this show was on . I had not planned on viewing it, but suprised that it might be something I would . I know little about for fun bowling or professional, but if the writing and cast of a show are good that is usually a deciding factor.

What haunted me was --why did the MIL(?) 's voice sound SO familiar. DH googled the character on his phone and --aha- it was Julie White that played Nadine on Grace under Fire ! I had just finished binge watching the last couple of seasons of that show that I had not seen back in the day.

I thought it had potential but wasn't that good. I will watch again and see how it goes. I don't like shows that have a ton of canned laughter - it kind of gets on my nerves! It's like --- okay- everyone, this part is funny--- laugh now!!!
