ABC has Storage Wars in its Afternoon Lineup

I was looking at the TV guide for programs this afternoon and noticed that our ABC station is airing old episodes of Storage Wars from 2014 in the 2:00 and 2:30 pm time slots (Central). I checked and it will be on next week as well.

I thought it was odd for a major network to show reruns from a cable channel. Is this happening in your viewing area?

It must be a fill-in for something they had to cancel. It is a strange choice, I agree. We've got the daily episode of some soap.opera.

@deepwaterdotter I really thought I would like Tamara Hall show....but I just do not care for her on a talk show.

The ABC affiliate station in Phoenix is airing Tamron. Affiliates are not network owned, and do not have to adhere to the network lineup.

I think some stations don't want to "waste" their regular shows due to the Olympics. You know everyone watches the Olympics (just kidding).

WABC in NYC shows Rachael Ray from 2 to 3.

It's a local affiliate decision, not the broadcast network. Affiliates get a feed of "General Hospital " from ABC which they can air at 2 or 3, doing what they want with the other hour.
