This plot has gone crazy. I used to LOVE this show but it has gotten so far fetched and violent this season. I turned it off the last few minutes when they showed the dog and the knife. I hate that Barbie has gone off his rocker and is turning on Julia. I guess it is good that she has nutty Jim on her side. OY, what a mess, I am so disappointed.

You stayed longer with it than me. The first episode this season was so strange I decided not to continue watching. Think that's the first time I've done that with a series that I started watching.

I stopped watching this season, as well. It has strayed so far from the book that it's not even recognizable anymore, and the plot lines are awful.

I am totally lost with the cocoon/alternate reality/oxytocin thing. Is Marge H. An alien? I'm trying to hang in there but am getting more and more confused each week.
And I'm not a novice to this kind of complicated programming, where you have to watch and listen to every scene carefully.
I'm payng attention, but also wondering, is it even worth it anymore? It's just not worth it to have to work and understand a series. I can imagine Stephen King is so mad he shared his book to the network, producers and writers of this series.

DH and I have watched all seasons faithfully and have it set to record each new episode. Tonight (Friday), we watched last night's episode (Thursday). When they threw Jim in the bird cage and pulled in the dog, I turned it off and deleted it from our DVR recordings permanently.

OK, I have it on DVR. But you said the dog gets hurt? I'm not watching it anymore and will just DELETE the last episode.

No, the dog was spared when Big Jim came clean.

But as another poster said this show has jumped the shark. I DVR it and this time I fast forwarded through all the s^x-implied scenes because they do nothing to advance the plot IMO. The ones with Christine and Junior are just icky.

I'll stick with this show until the end of this season but that's it. If they don't wrap it up this time I'm not coming back for next year.

I am glad to hear the dog was fine, I cannot watch scenes where animals get hurt. The writer of this season should be fired.

I hit mute and turned away, but looked back a while later to check and the dog was fine (how come he's the only pet, anywhere)?

Agree this is getting really convoluted. Bad people are good, and vice-versa and none of it makes sense and I sure hope it isn't aliens, though govt. experiments isn't comforting either.

The current Under The Dome season is no longer interesting.

They really needed writers with good imaginations to produce a third season which is interesting, and kept the audience wishing for more.

We watched a few episodes, and also had enough.

Seasons 1 & 2 were much better.

I started watching it when the first season began. Ok, so it was pretty dumb right out of the gate, but I was invested, so I figured I'd stick it out for the season and then re-assess.

Well, on the last episode of season one, I had taken about all the stupid I could take and I didn't even finish that last episode. I deleted my Season Pass, deleted the episode, and never looked back.

I've kind of kept up on it a little bit through what people have been saying about it (on other boards) and it seems that it has continued to be, probably, THE stupidest show in tv history. I'm suprised so many people were able to hang around as some have. I think there were some, probably here too, who really hoped it would improve. I'm sorry it didn't, especially for those who have invested 2 or 3 seasons of this dreck.

It's a shame because, being that it is a Stephen King piece, you'd think they could do better by it. I like Stephen King and that was the singular reason I tuned in at first.

I have the book -- which I have never read. I guess as commented here -- the show is not like the book at all?

I have to say that this show has really taken a turn to strangeville!!! Why must the writers feel that once they you get interested, they have to go and do all these strange and unbelievabably twisted and bizarre story lines??? This show just seems so unneccessarily violent and silly at the same time. I have almost stopped watching it several times and then stubborness has kept making me watch.

I can't stand the plot thing with Marg Helgenburg (sp). It is really lousy.

And I agree about the dog. If they had done something to him --- oh, my. I was screaming at the T.V.!!!!!!

The" pod "plot is over the edge. I can only hope that Christine cannot come out of the pod, I really dislike her character.

I guess I am in the minority! This has become one of my favorite shows since LOST left TV! I am glued to it every week. I watch it after it airs, and again with my husband the next day (since he is in bed when its on).

However I do admit, that dog scene got to me and I had to turn away! Had they hurt the dog I would have turned it off. Also I am not keen on the new character Christine! But I love all of the other characters, and I am all about Barbie and Julia! I hope they get back together soon!

I stopped watching it when I thought he was going to hurt the dog. I couldn't understand much of what was going on since the new season started. Up until then I SORT OF understood what was going on.

This is just going to be a show I'm finished watching.

The last episode actually got interesting. The writer tossed in some explanatory dialogue scenes that tied together some of this season's prior plot lines. Now of course this could be a red herring to throw the audience but with the scenes from the upcoming episode I'm thinking they could be winding it up. I hope so.
