FANS OF THE FUGITIVE TV SERIES

I'm bowing out as originator of "The Fugitive" thread. Wanted to let you know well before next week's airing so you can organize how you'll take over.

Can't believe how many episodes, discussions, highlights, and seasons have slipped by. Much of that time has been enjoyable, interacting with other enthusiasts here who bring unique perspectives on any and all things "Fuge".

From the start, it was a pure labor of love, hoping to showcase my all-time favorite, this landmark series of American television.

You still have a number of good episodes embedded in the "fourth and final" season to look forward to. Enjoy.

@Oznell thank you for all the previous Fugitive threads. It was obvious as you stated this was a labor of love for you. I really hate to read the above but will try to respect and support your decision. Please post if things change. I'll miss you.

@Oznell - I'm so sorry to read of your decision. Thanks for all the work you put into the weekly thread with the synopsis, comments and pictures. It was obviously a labor of love and because of you, I am once again enjoying a great show. I will miss discussing it with you and the thread won't be the same.

Hopefully we can chat together again on other threads in the forum.

@Oznell Very sorry to read this, esp as we are heading toward the home stretch in the final season. You've done a great job, never even missing a week. @twinsister Since the announcement says "bowing out as the originator"" of the threads, I hope oznell will continue to participate in them with comments.

@Tique I wonder if you would be willing to pick up continuing starting the threads as a joint effort? I don't mind starting them but I don't know how to post photos from my phone (it is still my only internet source right now,I'm still typing on my tiny keyboard). Or if you want to do the whole thing, be my guest. Or if you want to do none of it, I can just post the written part of the thread to get it started. Let me know.

Again, oznell, you've done a great job and always grabbed my interest in each episode to watch again, even after watching them in the original and many times over the years. Perhaps you will reconsider your decision at some time.

@Tique Great! Let's try that, thank you. 🙂 Do you have a preference which day I start the thread -- Sat or Sun? I think @Oznell has done both (Saturdays more recently I think).

So sorry to read that you will be bowing out, but I respect your wishes to do so. You will be missed by me and others who don't necessarily comment (like myself) but always watch the episodes.

All things come to an end, but hopefully you'll comment occasionally from time to time on some of the remaining episodes of TF and other Film Noir on TCM

Hey, thanks to all for your comments. Although I won't be participating in that thread, I well know the indescribable fascination with all things "Fugitive", which will carry it right through to that much-debated-- but necessary to any kind of satisfactory 'closure'-- finale.
