America’s Got Talent/The Voice/AI

I am binge watching recordings; I'm behind 3 episodes. Programs like this & The Voice keep me so happy during our tumultuous times. Terry Crews is a hoot on AGT! An easy diversion from the depressing news as of late. So happy there is so much undiscovered talent out there & lucky us get to witness it!

I've found I like watching the recordings rather then the show now. I do like Terry but I got tired of the judges tired responses.

Oh wow, I just watched the video of Nurses Choir it was their golden buzzer performance of Stand by Me😭

They have witnessed and ministered to so much heartbreak and still they have given themselves hope and others by their singing. It's hard to imagine what they go thru everyday though I sort of can. My youngest was a nurse in er and icu until she had to retire due to illness so I am grateful not for her illness but that she is no longer in the hospital setting. They are heroes for sure. I hope they win!

I've been watching AGT but not The Voice. I usually catch AGT either On Demand, or they repeat it over the weekend and I catch up.

I think they have some good talent this year. Lots of good singers. I really enjoy the strength act. Those 3 brothers from Columbia are outstanding. I think what they do is really incredible and I could watch them all day long doing stunts and balancing like they do.

Not a big fan of choirs. I also like the 2 towel guys who do quite a daring act.

I haven't seen it tonight so I will have to catch up to comment further. But yes, I think it helps relieve my anxiety for awhile and transports me to a funner feel good place.

One of my favorite acts is Josh Blue. He is a comedian who has cerebral palsy. He is very funny. I hope he makes it to the finals.

I haven't watched AGT. The acts that I enjoy are the music, and I watch The Voice and American Idol for that. I did watch AGT the year that a magician won. He was absolutely amazing.

I think The Voice starts soon, and I'll be watching.

I enjoy AGT. I usually like the comedians the best. I flip channels when some of the danger acts come on. This season it is hard to believe the child opera singer is a child ! Some talents must be honed but there must be some that are just a part of the person.

I think Terry Crews is a very capable host and helps to make the show enjoyable.

As retired RN, New Yorker and American I was so touched by the Northwell Nurses Choir. Both performances were outstanding. These are folks who are working every day in their hospitals and managed to find the time and energy to bring a message of resilience and hope. I wish everyone could see them.

We were at the epicenter of the pandemic in NY and these nurses saved the day. New Yorkers have huge hearts and our communities reached out in big and small ways to show our appreciation. I hope the same is true around the country as the struggle continues.
