The new Hannah Swensen movie. "Sweet Revenge"

For those of you who watched this movie, what did you think of it?

I enjoyed it but probably not as much as the previous Murder, She Baked series.

For one thing, I didn't like the way they failed to explain why The Cookie Jar was so much larger and looked completely different. I think they should have mentioned that either Hannah had remodeled it or else moved to a different location.

Secondly they only mentioned in passing that Andrea, Hannah's sister had moved to Seattle for a new job. Nothing was said about her husband, the police officer.

The other sister that they introduced was sort of annoying. I never remembered them mentioning her in any of the past shows.

Moishe, the cat was more prominent in the past, now he was only shown briefly for just a second. I always enjoyed Hannah's interaction with him.

I did like the scenes between Norman and Hannah. But I think they should have had him married by now. Instead they implied that he was still infatuated with Hannah.

Delores, who was always a little wacky but still kind and loving to her daughters was made to look almost cartoonish.

Nevertheless, I was happy to see Hannah Swensen back. I never cared for Allison's other series, "The Chronicle Mysteries". I just had a hard time really getting in to it.

I enjoyed it. I read that the actress who played her sister wasn't available and since the other sister is in the books, they added her to the story.

I do think it's strange that Norman is still single and hung up on Hannah. They are implying pretty strongly that her engagement isn't a done deal. Her mother apparently thinks Norman is better for Hannah, but she has more chemistry and excitement with the detective (whose name excapes me).

Hannah and Mike are a cute couple. I'd continue watching any more movies they make. I think Andrea's absence could have been explained better. Since Michelle is in the book series, I was happy they brought in the other sister. The movie was a three star for me, out of five.

I kind of thought the dentist was brought back as a love interest for the new sister. However, nothing came of that idea and appears he’s being used to cause friction between Hannah and Mike. I suppose it’s still possible in future movies though.

I didn't care for it as much as I did the original series. The same, but different. One sister gone and another I never knew existed, the new bakery, what happened to the mother's antique shop. Didn't see much of the towns people in and out. I'm sure Norman will move on. Anyhow, I'll still watch if they continue the series.
