Especially after you've invested 90 minutes of your life watching something with no ending. Makes me furious.

brinig out an obscure character at the ending to be the killer (in murder mysteries) with a very weak motive.

And I hate ones that are so dark you can't see the action; the rumbling sounds are often too loud.

@Tique It seems to be the avant garde thing to let the viewer dream up his own ending. I'm too old to learn to be a screen writer at this point. I want to be told how it ends. Surprise me.

The " left up in the air " movie endings used to be rare. In recent years , it has become more frequent . I think they leave some movies ambiguous at the end so they can leave the door open to a sequel.

@deepwaterdotter Have you ever seen the movie Cujo?

From WIKI: "Cujo was played by four St. Bernards, several mechanical dogs, and a black Labrador-Great Dane mix in a St. Bernard costume. In some shots, stuntman Gary Morgan played Cujo whilst wearing a large dog costume."

Well, that would depend on the "story." Nudity does not bother me not one bit if it's done in context. If the script calls for frontal nudity for the female, then you better show full frontal nudity for the male also. ~~What's good for the goose is good for the gander.~~

I agree about movies that have no real ending. All these anxious moments, you are waiting and waiting to see how all these things are going to be tied together ---- who did what, etc. --- and then --- just --- nothing. I'm sitting there ---- WHAT? What do you mean it's over???? I feel it's truly been a waste of my time! They must not even know how to come to a proper conclusion ---- so why even bother???
