Well the bad news is Nicole won the POV. The good news is the Cody/Nicole final two may not be quite as set in stone as it appeared. First, the POV comp. It was BB Comics that Nicole had played in twice before and both won and finished second in. Most of the rest had never played it before. During the long time from when she was first called to participate (February/March until the show finally started in August,) Nicole had prepared for this comp by playing the "What's different between these two pictures" games on her phone. That's the whole premise of BB Comics is to find out what's different between two comics. When she told Cody how she'd prepared he said he already knew as her mom had told his mom how she was getting ready for the show in one of their talks. (Part of the reason many of us had assumed the Cody/Nicole finale was all but guaranteed. They're very closely connected.)

Yesterday morning Nicole was laughing at the idea that she couldn't beat Cody in the final two. By last night she was convinced she couldn't beat Cody in the final two and needed him gone. (I'm guessing someone in the Diary Room let her know how things really stood.) That's why she wants to keep Christmas in the house over Memphis as she thinks Christmas will target Cody for her and keep her safe.

Nicole could get rid of Cody herself this week by simply saving Christmas with the POV and putting Cody up in her place, but doing so would likely cause some family strife what with their moms being best buds and Cody's dad being Nicole's agent/manager. Nicole's plan for now anyway is to keep the noms the same, trust Cody and Enzo to vote out Memphis (may be asking a lot) have Christmas or Nicole win POV next week, and someone other than Cody win HOH, then oust Cody at the final four and have Nicole, Christmas, and Enzo be the final three. (Odds favor Cody winning that HOH but we'll see.)

So, now we're back on cruise control until Thursday. Memphis will likely be going to the jury then and a new HOH will be crowned. Nicole seems to have accepted that she can't beat Cody but could beat Enzo or Christmas, so she's got to get things set up right for the finale now. I have a hard time seeing Nicole getting the votes she needs against Christmas. She's burned Da'Vonnne, so Da'Vonne, Kevin and David are likely not voting for her no matter what. Ian might be a vote for her. Daniele probably would vote for her. Tyler's a bit of a wildcard. If Christmas makes the final two, Tyler would lean more to Christmas instead of Nicole. Memphis might also. With Tyler, Memphis, Da'Vonne, David, and Kevin, Christmas would have the five votes she needs to win.

Could Nicole beat Enzo? Probably. Enzo might not have any votes locked up. Maybe David would vote for him. Sure votes for him would be more votes against Nicole in Da'Vonne and Kevin. Maybe Tyler would vote for Enzo. I think Enzo would be easier for her to beat than Christmas. If she can get Cody in the jury without doing it herself, he becomes a pretty sure vote for Nicole.

The house should stay pretty quiet now until Thursday when we get a new HOH again. It'll be either Cody, Christmas, or Enzo. This upcoming week is a week where the HOH is just safe and the POV holds all of the power. If a nominee wins POV the only person left to go up is the only person not nominated and the only vote is the POV holder. Expect Cody to gun hard for the HOH this coming week and likely win. He won't take out Nicole, so it'll be up to the POV winner to do it if she's to go.
