How many episodes were made of Longmire? Or how many seasons?

I recently signed with Netflix and discovered one of my favorite old shows, Longmire. So far I haven't duplicated any of the shows I've seen. Does anyone know how long this show ran? For those of you who wonder why it took me so long to pick up Netflix, our satellite bill is 147.00 a month. So Netflix counts as a luxury.

@depglass You can google that to get your answer. I did watch the entire run of that show but don't remember how many there were. It was alot though, it took awhile to get through it. I loved that series!!

There were 6 seasons of Longmire. Great show!!!!!!

I did not care for the series!

I did not like the character of the characters.

John was not happy and not nice to Ferg.

Why was Ferg's girlfriend on the heavy side?

Could Vic have stuck her chest out any farther?

Hated the ending but you could see it coming!

Longmire aired from 2012-2017. Six seasons. 63 episodes.

All I know is the last season was the only one not shown on cable. I loved that show.

@Lali1A&E was the original producer-3 seasons. Then they dropped it for whatever reason.

Then Netflix picked it up and produced 3 more seasons but all 6 are on Netflix.

DH and I really liked Longmire and the music was great.

We've watched it twice.

Funny, though, it was filmed in NM and not Wyoming. Mostly. lol

The only storyline I didn't care for was the one with Ally Walker.

I guess I will have to extend beyond my 30 day free trial to get all 63 episodes, but I'm noticing some good movies anyway. Beats paying DISH individually for anything good. Thanks for not giving away the ending.

@Lali1 It's ok. Did you get to see all 6 seasons on Netflix?

I found the Netflix production a little dragged out but the way it was tied up at the end with all the characters was good, imo.

We finished last episode last night. DH wondered if we could ever watch it again. We will definitely be keeping Netflix for the forseeable future. I'm a plot studier, always wondering how they will work out such and such. Ten minutes from the end they dispensed with the bad guys like bowling pins. The ending was great IMHO, I would have been distressed if they hadn't ended up together. My issue with the Ally Walker role was she was too flighty to be a psychiatrist.
