Netflix good movies with action/suspense

Hi everyone! I'm in a lot of pain and trying to distract myself with Netflix movies, I'm having a hard time concentrating so it needs a lot of action, like action, suspense, or maybe thrillers. It can't be slow and has to suck you in or it's hard for me to focus on right now. Thank you for any recommendations, I've been going through old posts but thought there may be some I've missed. I just watched Project Power which was so-so, watched Fury (friend's movie), then finished the series The Witcher and Boys (Amazon).

I just watched 1BD. Very intense, not for everyone. Go to Netflix and check it out.

Not the traditional action/suspense movie, but give "Miracle" a try.

Yes, it's a Disney movie. It's the story of the 1980 Olympic hockey team.

It's very fast paced, draws you in almost immediately, has lots of on-ice action and if you play close attention, hilariously funny.

If it's not your thing, I'm not offended. Just offering a suggestion.

@Leggett28 That movie was better than I thought it would be. So scary.

I enjoyed it except for the horrible oven scene. Won't give any more of it

away but it reminded me of twilight zone. Good suggestion to take your

mind off everything else except this movie.

@Katmary: If you like to binge-watch TV series, I'd like to recommend "Designated Survivor". It's a political thriller with Keifer Sutherland (3 seasons). As far as suspense movies, I enjoyed "Dangerous Lies" and "A Fall from Grace". Feel better!

Thanks everyone! I'm going to watch 1BR tonight! I watched Designated Survivor when it was on tv but never finished watching it. I'll start with the movies, if you think of any others let me know. I appreciate your input!

I don't have any movies to recommend, but if you want to binge watch a few good shows, Wentworth is my favorite show on Netflix. Also, Offspring and Rectify, Broadchurch, The Fall, Doctor Foster.

That should keep you busy for a while! Enjoy!

@Katmary ...You and me both. The past few days I haven't been able to find any good fast paced show to watch, and I love action. I also prefer to watch a series rather than a movie. Good luck.

i think "Spencer confidential" is on netflix. that was good, action movie-Mark Walberg as spencer. i hope they make a 2nd one!

I don't have any of those types of movies/shows to recommend* but I just wanted to say that I'm sorry you're having a rough time. Hope you feel better soon.

PS - If the pain you're experiencing is physical, you may want to try reflexology. There are accupressure points on your ears, hands and feet and you can ease the discomfort when you apply pressure according to where your pain is.

*I understand needing to be distracted but I stopped watching this type of entertainment some time ago because it wasn't helpful to me during a challenging time. I chose light/happy things instead ("laughter is the best medicine"). Just putting that out there. {hugs}

I've watched two Harlan Coben series on Netflix. One is called The Stranger - Fantastic!!! and the other was Safe, also really good. There are episodes, I think 9 each, but they are suspenseful but not super scary. I loved them. I couldn't stop watching.....

Thank you everyone for the great messages and concern! i watched 1BR, that was one weird but interesting movie! I didn't like the oven scene either. It was based on a novel which I'd guessed as it's similar to so many sci fi books.

As far as my pain it's a combination of nerve pain from chronic and new issues, I started an anti-inflammatory diet and have dialed back hardcore cardio workouts and added in a lot of mellow yoga, meditation, chakra healing, and visualization. I have some genetic issues that recently came up so I'm trying to eat as they recommend and am waiting to see specialists but it's taking forever for the referrals to go through. Thank you everyone! I AM trying to be more mellow but my attention span is awful right now, being calm is against my nature but I'm working on it!

@Katmary Two more good horror movies, Hush. I don't think I will

ever forget that one and Would You Rather is also pretty good.
