McMillions on HBO -Possible Spoilers

Is anyone watching this docu-series on HBO?

I had never heard this story before. Only two episodes have aired so far. It is interesting.As I was watching the second episode I just kept thinking wow! Those interviewed have no shame. They are laughing and joking. They commited fraud, they participated in stealing millions of dollars. And yet they find it funny? Am I the crazy person who thinks commiting crimes is not funny?

I have being trying to find out who has been convicted, if anyone went to prison etc.

So far I have only found limited information.

I won't post anything, I do not want to ruin anything for anyone esle.

What an interesting documentary! I had no idea this had happened. Yes, the audacity of those who were in on it. Unbelievable. Can't wait for next week's episode.

I never played this game figuring the odds were against me. Who knew?

Excellent documentary. Those who commit crimes rarely feel remorse. I used to deal with a population that included many who committed crimes. Some thought it was the government or people in general who were stupid for winding up being taken advantage of. I once dealt with someone who used a credit card fraudently and who told me it was the owner's fault for having lost the card and that he (the criminal) was lucky for having found it. Talk about twisted thinking.

@lenapecci As a fan of the CNBC long running series "American Greed" they run this story about once a year.

He served 37 months behind bars and agreed to pay $12.5 million in restitution. Now in his late 70s, he still lives in Georgia.

I have being trying to find out who has been convicted, if anyone went to prison etc.

The other "scammers" were all convicted.

You can WIKI research each one to find out their convictions/sentences. There is a wealth of info out there about this con.

I won't post anything, I do not want to ruin anything for anyone esle.

Use the spoiler tag like I did so folks can make their own decisions regarding peeping or not.

Really enjoyed the first two episodes. I remember when the Monopoly disaster was in the news, but didn't know all the details

That exuberant, energetic young FBI agent is a hoot.......laughed when one of his senior associates said they "need to keep him sedated".

I watched two episodes and I also was surprised by the joking and smirking and playing up to the cameras. It's like they are all proud of what they did. I know it was a long time ago, I'm anxious to see who went to prison and for how long. I remember those McD's games. Now I know why the most I ever won was a Big Mac.

I have been googling to see what I can find out. I did see that Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are going to make a movie about this.
