What are your favorite tearjerkers?

I started compiling a list of films and it's way too long, so I'll just post mine as we go along.

I could play the last 10 minutes ONE MILLION TIMES and cry for each and every repetition.

YEP- just watched it on YouTube- when CG OPENS THAT DOOR....... FLOOD!

Since I was a teenager and caught it on black and white tv -- Imitation of Life--corny as can be especially by today's standards but when the daughter is crying out " Momma Momma I am sorry , I love you " with the New Orlean's type funeral in the background.... I still lose it !

When Judy Garland sings "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" in The Wizard of Oz -- cry every time. Now even more, my late mother's name was Dorothy and she loved the movie and the song.

The film remains on my favorites list and it's on my tearjerker list, too. I cry all through it. When Toto's taken from Dorothy, when Toto gets away, when Dorothy says goodbye, when Dorothy is home again...

I wear my red shoes with pride.

I think so, too!

I also think it's interesting that we can watch the same film again and again and still lose it every time we hear a particular line, watch a particular scene, or hear a particular piece of music.

I don't watch 'tearjerker' movies.

I can think about my own life growing up and there's more tearjerker moments than I need.

I prefer action type movies or comedy types, I love to laugh!
