Dina Lohan Arrested for DWI After Outback Steakhouse Crash

8:07 AM PT -- Dina Lohan’s attorney Mark Jay Heller tells TMZ…"The arrest of Dina Lohan is most unfortunate. She was not evaluated for alcohol content in her blood at the time she was arrested. We have interposed a not guilty plea at her arraignment to all six charges. We look forward to attending court this Wednesday to fight the case. I was successful in getting her out without bail. She was released without bail by the judge."

Dina Lohan may have taken the Outback Steakhouse experience a little too far, because she may have t-boned another car outside the restaurant while driving drunk ... so claim the cops who arrested her.

Cops tell TMZ Lindsay Lohan's mom was driving a 2016 Mercedes Saturday at 7 PM when she struck another car outside the restaurant. She then allegedly fled the scene, but the woman in the other car chased her all the way to Dina's Long Island home.

Cops came, but they say Dina refused to submit to a drug/alcohol test. They say they observed clear signs of intoxication, so they arrested her for DWI, leaving the scene of an accident and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

The DWI Dina now faces is a felony, because she has a prior DWI.

As far as Dina Lohan is concerned it was not a matter of if she offended, but rather when she would. Addiction is very difficult to overcome, and is often a revolving door at rehab.

Why would she leave the scene of the accident and drive home??... if she had been sober and it was just an accident , the normal person would not flee... and WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND hits a car and drives off... like WHO? And she is unlicensed to drive anyway! Why was she driving at all?

People run when they are afraid of being caught... of course she was drunk or high.

Obviously Her lawyer will fight tooth and nail for a paycheck to get her off...

Great,she remains to continue on to possibly killing someone next time.

She is a waste of breath.

I remember back when her daughter Lindsay was in her late teens to early 20s, she was always defending her and making excuses for her bad behavior. I saw a photo once of her partying along side Lyndsay like she was her girlfriend instead of her daughter. I thought that was a really sad picture. Not once did I ever read that Dina was worried about her or trying to help her daughter. Heartbreaking.

Ridiculous. Hope the police were wearing a video cam. Sounds like she is in denial or thinks she's above the law. That other driver needs to take her to see Judge Judy to get reimbursed for damages. Can't imagine she has car insurance. Even if she did, she's not supposed to be driving.

Maybe she saw where her daughter was coming back to restart her career and she was celebrating the expected cash flow.

Toss her buns in the jail, sell her car to pay for some of the damages and let DD get the rest for the damages and bail money. Teach her to Uber during rehab.

So if one is involved in an accident with another vehicle, and flees the scene - drives home, one can then refuse a sobriety test? Isn't there a penalty for refusing the test if an officer feels alcohol was involved? Seems to me, everyone would refuse the breathalyzer test. Maybe different States have different laws?

At some point don't you reach an age where you KNOW NOT TO drink and drive?

She's got to be in her 50's by now. You would think she would know better. Especially w/Uber and all these ride services available now.

@jellyBEAN The penalty for refusing the sobriety test is arrest....and she WAS arrested.

@GenXmuse Hardly a misfortune.....she hit another car....and left the scene of an accident. That is more like stupidity and a person with no scruples. To not even stay to make sure that the people in the car you hit were OK?

I believe if you refuse they draw blood when they get you to the police station.

I know her best from her time on the Big Brother Celebrity version of the show. She was very likeable as a contestant. The one thing that stood out is that she was being catfished at that time. She had a "boyfriend" for many years that she had never met in person - supposedly living on the West Coast. I don't understand how someone her age would believe that its been impossible for this man to somehow, someway make his way to Long Island to meet her.
