Russell Crowe transformation for The Loudest Voice

I was reading People Magazine at the dentist's office this morning, otherwise I would never have known (don't have premium cable channels).

I was blown away by Russell Crowe's transformation to play Roger Ailes! He gained a lot of weight for the role, but they did a great job with prosthetics and makeup, too.

I don't know about Russell Crowe gaining all that weight for a movie, he has been overweight for a quite a while. There were many articles about him being fat shamed a few years ago. He has a weight problem and his weight yo-yo's like many of us.

He used to have one of the most ripped bodies in Hollywood.

I watched the series and would have never known this was Russell Crowe. I enjoyed it.

@PilatesLover Russell’s transformation in this show was just great - really thought the acting in this show was top rate really good television.

He used to be drop dead gorgeous, now, he looks like the male

Mama June. Let himself go. Guess as long as your a man that's OK he

will still get movie roles because of his talent.

Yeh, he played a gladiator type years back in some movie while he was still a hunk. Haven't seen him looking like that in ages. I never thought of him as handsome but he had quite the body.
