Question about Subaru Dogs commercial

The Subaru dogs commercials are my absolute favorites and I love every one of them. Now, I don't consider myself to be a dumb person but for some reason I just don't understand the latest one - the one where the dog family is sitting at a table having hot dogs for lunch.

I could understand it if the three onlookers looked like strays and the retrievers left their lunch for them, but they don't. So can anyone please tell me what I am missing?

Needless to say, whether I understand it or not, those dogs are just gorgeous.

Arent they the cutest ever? I think the dogs have second thoughts about eating "weiner dogs". When the dachshund ( also called weiner dogs) dogs are offended and protest. I dont think it is meant to be too deep. Lol. Just my take on it. Dachshunds have always been nicknamed weiner dogs, hot dog dogs because of their shape. Last year the dachshund down the block went trick or treating with his owner and kids. He had a hot dog suit on, with a little bottle of heinz catsup hanging from his collar. It was a charm that looked like a catsup bottle. Too cute. They are the funniest dogs, with such a sense of humor

my favorite commercial of theirs, if I had to choose is the hot poodle walking across the crosswalk. The mom and dad dog are in front seat, and dad gives the poodle the once over. The mom looks at the dad and growls at him.

these are just really appealing and clever commercials.enjoyable. I cant imagine anyone turning them off, or changing channels. My prediction is there will be a movie, or cartoon show, lol!!!

Of course...!! I didn't even think about that, but it now totally makes sense to me. I think my brain must be slowing down.

The person who thinks up these commercials comes up with some very unique ideas, and is worth every dollar of his/her salary.

Although I love these commercials, my big favorite is the one where they all drive up to a gas station and go into the toilet for a drink. I crack up every time I see it.

I must say that I love Subaru automobiles!........A lot of folks around here in my neighborhood say the same.

Some still have older models in their families in addition to new models..........They say that they don't want to part with them, so they've been handing them down or just keeping them as a second 'around town' car.

I haven't seen the TV commercials yet. I'm sure they are delightful.

I adore these ads! My favorite is when all the dogs are barking at something coming down the street. After a bit a mail truck passes them! I just die laughing at that one, so cute!

Yes, they feel a bit guilty eating hot dogs when they see their little Dachsund friends. These ads are just all so cute. One of my favorites is the car wash - makes me laugh every time. The dogs washing the cars are carefree and having fun - and wash only the bottom half of the car since that's all they can reach! All is good - car is mostly clean! LOL!

These doggie ads are the greatest. My favorite one is showing the little pup’s first day of obedience school. Mom has to urge the pup to leave for school, and Papa is very distraught.

And to top it off, I love my Subaru Forester. My second one. I do notice another car manufacturer now has put dogs in their ads. But no comparison to those Subaru pooches.

Those commercials hands down are the very best! The dogs are just adorable. Love them! Brilliant ad campaign!!! I don't have a Subaru but makes me want to go out and get one!!!

I had never seen one before so I went to youtube and watched eight in a row. Yes, the dogs are darling (that Barkley family!) but I have to say I didn't laugh. Maybe if I saw one in my living room and I would say what a cute commercial. Yes, maybe that's it.

I love the old ones too where they went camping and to the beach and skiing. There's an outtake video of the skiing one. So funny! Those weren't with the Barkleys but a bunch of different dogs.

I like these commercials, too. It's funny how the commercials really have nothing at all to do with the product they're selling, but people are gullible and they will purchase on emotion.

Good thing Subaru has always made good vehicles, but I guess I take more of a clinical approach and if I were interested in checking out the vehicles I would like for their ads to give facts.

I'm not sure which is a fav of mine. They're all so cute.

For a long time the Forester has been favorite of dog owners so these ads are just targeting them. Dog Approved! They do run other ads as well. And if the dogs get people to watch the commercial that's half the battle. Who really watches ads anymore? So if you get people just to look at the car that's something.

I love those Goldens and all the ads . If I had to pick my favorite it would probably be one of the earlier ads...the one where the daddy golden pulls into the driveway to the house and the baby golden in the back seat of the car wakes up. So instead of getting out, he puts the car in reverse and pulls back out of the driveway to drive the baby around the block to get him to fall asleep.
