tonights the night ladies......RHOOC begins again with season 14!

a new housewife, returning housewives, and a demoted OG housewife.

SEASON 14, EPISODE 1

NEW FRIEND, NEW FLAMES

shannon has lost 40 pounds and gained lots of fun AND a boyfriend.

gina is having a rocky start to her new life.....she has left her home and has gotten a DUI.

Shannon feels better than ever after shedding over 40 pounds and the baggage of her marriage. She immediately hits it off with Kelly’s new friend, Braunwyn, a mom of seven children. Gina starts the year dealing with the ramifications of a recent DUI, while Emily takes on the role of single mother when her husband Shane studies for the California BAR exam. Kelly settles down and is smitten with her new beau, a successful plastic surgeon. Tamra has moved into a new home in her dream neighborhood of Coto de Caza, but is troubled that her sons are not speaking.

But I've lost interest in the so called 'Real Housewives' franchises and don't watch any of them anymore.

I’m very excited for the new season! It will be weird not having Vicki full time. She has been pretty awful the last few seasons though. But she is the OG of this show. I’m not too thrilled with Gina but we’ll see.

Will this obsession with the Real Housewives ever die down! They are all a train wreck& so many divorces have happened as a result of this show. Most of the ladies are just down right nasty & should be ashamed that their actions are out there for all to see , let alone their children. At price do they want to sell themselves??

They will do anything for that paycheck. They've made that apparent. I haven't watched OC for a few years now. Don't know half of them. They are just really nasty human beings.

I still do watch BH.

The bottom line though is because this is "reality" tv, people believe that these are their true personalities and this is how they behave vs. really trying to hype it up for a storyline and to be able to stay on the show. In essense they are pimping out their reputations for $.

@elated Even if she did get some liposuction done, I still think she did a pretty good job of losing weight by watching her diet and exercising. That's what I was commenting about -- not what she had done to her face. I hope she can keep off the weight.

The only reason I questioned her exercising is because she kept saying she hated it. She looks good after her weight loss but she has had a facelift. I think this does make her look better. I was looking at the total picture.

I'm not sure I'm liking Shannon 2.0. Too much pda w/these guys she's so busy dating now. Yuck. And Kelly and her new plastic surgeon guy, he seems kinda gross. I'm doubtful about this season after just this first episode.

And why bring back Gina and Emily? Is Emily going to be showcasing her marital problems all season? And her annoying kids? And Gina looks worse for the wear after her marital woes. How do they afford to buy these homes? They all live in beautiful homes. And now another new girl with 7 (?) kids? Yikes, I hope we don't have to witness her home life. How does she even get out of the house to go drinking w/these women?

We shall see. I didn't think much of it as you can probably tell from this post.

I DVRd it last night and started to watch it but just wasn't in the mood. Gina looks horrible in her interviews. She is way too blonde and looks very bloated for some reason.

I sure hope that Emily does more to her kid(s) for kicking their dog than telling him to stop it. She needs to teach her son respect for animals. I wanted to jump through the tv when I saw that. Right after that is when I turned off the tv.

I had Bravo on while I was in bed but dozed off. I was awakened by the most horrible, shrieking voice. I wanted to poke my ears out. I looked at the tv and Shannon was on WWHL playing some game. OMG that woman's voice could break glass.

As an aside, but somewhat related, Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth were on WWHL Monday night promoting the BH90210 reboot. Tori said she was upset that she was never asked to be on real housewives BH. She said she was a BH girl, born and raised, etc. Then she said "this one was asked" and pointed to Jennie.

Andy asked her if she was asked to be on the show and she said she was 2 years ago. Andy asked if they were friends with any of the current women and I don't recall Jennie saying anything but Tori claimed she was friends with Denise, LR and Kyle then said really all of them.

I watched last night, and was not impressed at all. Kelly is still just as classy as always-NOT!!!! She doesn't seem that in love with her Doctor to me, probably more in love with what he can do for her. I have never cared for Kelly....

Gina looks awful this season, last season I thought she was so cute, but this season she looks bloated and I don't like her hair color at all....

Emily looks pretty much the same, maybe a bit heavier, but she said she hasn't had time for exercising, still don't care for her husband!

Tamra was pretty low key last night, I know it won't last-lol!

Shannon looks great, her weight loss is really good!Her daughters are really pretty too, they are really growing up!I have always liked Shannon. She really got a bad deal with David....Glad she has moved on.

I must say I missed Vicki last night! I know we will see her at Tamra's party, but I missed her.....This is probably my least favorite of the Housewive shows that I watch. But I continue to still watch! lol!
