Stumbled on it last night. Really, really enjoyed it. We will probably purchase it from E-Bay or Amazon. I think the broadcast network show "Elementary" is not good. I am a Sherlock Holmes fan from waaaaay back and never thought I would find any I liked as much as Basil Rathbone.

If you're talking about Benedict Cumberbatch, I adore him. Even my 8 year old grandson is a fan of his.

My 8 year old grandson is a kind of math genius. He sits and watches the mathmatical postings on the screen during the show.

All of that goes over my head. I think we all are able to get what we like out of this show and any show, for that matter.

It's a show where you must pay attention (or it goes over your head). A lazy TV viewer like myself, must watch it more than one time to really get the full effort presented to the audience.

Did you know that his real parents play parents? They are actors also. My favorite episode is the one where we see Sherlock and his brother at home with their parents. It makes him seem as 'human' as is possible.

The role was made for Benedict Cumberbatch.

I watched the series when it was on PBS and am watching again on BBC America. Steven Moffatt writes this and Dr Who so only a few episodes and hopefully some new in 2015 not 2016 as previously announced. Obviously a big fan of Sherlock and Benedict. He was on Graham Norton recently and is quite funny.

I just saw where he just got engaged. Lucky girl. He won an Emmy, did you know that? He wasn't there to accept it, but I'm glad he won one.
