Aside from the Lori Laughlin fiasco, the show isn’t the same since they killed off Jack Thornton. 😭 I’m struggling to stick with the new season. The only interesting characters to me are Henry, Lee and Rosemary.

@bikerbabe . I agree. They are having a hard time finding new storylines. Getting boring. I liked Jack. Although I hear there is an ad in The Hope Valley Gazette for a new mayor.

LOL, yes you never know about those folks that play in these so called "innocent" shows do you!!! Obviously they are not like that in real life!

To be fair, I wouldn’t ever assume an actor in real life is like a character he/she plays, for better or for worse. I wouldn’t judge a show based on that either.

I’m just having difficulty getting into the show since Jack left. I’m sure part of the problem is that Elizabeth is a snooze without Jack (and frankly she’s not a very good actress) and I wonder if they show is shifting more to other characters that I don’t find interesting. Bill is starting to wear on me. He’s always angry about something. Carson and Faith are a snooze. Maybe I’m the grumpy one. I want Jack. 😂

I have not watched the show. But frankly, I hope she is let go or the show is cancelled. The whole college admission scandal really p*sses me off. There is one set of rules for Hollywood and Politicians, and another set of rules for the rest of us. I am sick of it.

DH and I have been watching this show since the beginning. It's the only Hallmark show we now watch and don't do their movies,etc.

Speaking for myself, it was a 'feel good' show, but this season is very lacking IMO. Not sure much longer we'll continue to watch as it's getting boring and predictable.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — The Hallmark Channel cut ties Thursday with favored star Lori Loughlin, a day after her arrest in a college admissions scam put the family-friendly network and extended Hallmark brand in uncomfortable proximity to a headline-grabbing scandal.

"We are saddened by the recent allegations surrounding the college admissions process," Hallmark Cards Inc., parent company of the Crown Media Family Networks umbrella group that includes the Hallmark Channel, said in a statement.

"We are no longer working with Lori Loughlin" and have stopped development of all productions with the actress for Crown Media channels, the statement said.

I have never watched it but I knew Lori was in it. I can’t believe how she has wrecked so many things at Hallmark! I hope she feels at least a little bit sorry...but just don’t know.

The Hollywood Reporter quotes Hallmark saying...

"Hallmark has also pulled When Calls the Heart from its schedule for this Sunday and is "evaluating all creative options" related to the series, the network said."

Wow, if they plan to keep this season alive, they're going to have to do some quick and fancy editing and retaping...

We'll know if they are re-shooting if we see all the actors traveling back to Canada on social media.

In addition to dealing with the Lori situation, they had to call all the main people and give them a heads up first before making the announcement.

Erin Krakow and Candace Cameron Bure are close personal friends with Lori. I wonder how they will handle this
