TCM "Star is Born" Judy Garland resembles . . . ?

I watched the 1954 "Star is Born" that I had Tivoed from last month.

I think that Judy Garland resembles Jane Treacy so much. Can

anyone else agree with my observation?

Judy was so good in "A Star is Born". Although I don't see a close resemblance, @cornicopia, I think I can see what you are seeing.

They both are/were small, full of energy, and have a sort of "pixie"-like quality, I think...

Now that you mention it, I see a resemblance. The dark eyes, short auburn hair-and spunky personalities.

I can’t say that I see the resemblance, but I did love that movie. “ The Man that got away” is one of the great torch songs.

I do not see the resemblance but I love the movie. Judy's voice is so powerful and full of feeling. She definitely left her mark in the music world.

@cornicopia Funny you should mention that because I saw the resemblence a long time ago, even with some of the clothes she wears.

I think the short dark hair... and that they were both had tiny features makes them appear similar........ but in reality I see no resemblance in their facial features at all. They do both have very bad taste in dresses!
