I just saw that Amazon has launched a new free (with ads) online TV/movie service for their customers called IMDb Freedive. The app for it popped up on my FireTV. It's got a pretty impressive listing of movies and shows. I haven't watched anything yet, so I can't say how intrusive the ads are, but the programming looks impressive.

The Freedive service is available on the IMDb website via computer and on all Amazon Fire TV devices.

Thanks for posting about this. You kept me from being too surprised with Freedive showed up in my apps list - second only to Prime! LOL I guess Amazon wants me to try it!

I’m looking forward to trying it. I hope to find some shows I’ve wanted to watch but haven’t had free access to.
