You have two option on is Popular it is limited, and the other Recent you should see all threads in play.

I go directly to the forum I want to read - ie. Viewpoints, or Linea, or Kitchen & Food, etc.

Most of the time I just go to the TV thread. I don't like the way the other threads (I click on the variety) are so angry with each other and single each other out.

I think life is too wonderful to be mean to each other. So, I come over here when I can talk about something that I love (TV) with people who like TV like I do.

I think more than that all of you are people who respect the opinions of each other. We differ on many ideas; but we don't make it personal and we don't attack each other.

Perhaps the phrase: "Agree to disagree" pertains to all of us here more than it does on the other forums.

So, finally, like I said, I like it here. I like talking about TV. I like getting other people's perspective about TV shows and their stars.

I've learned so much here and I am so grateful. It is especially nice the way Java and keri continuously keep us/me up to date on everything TV.

I forgot to say that if I can I try to go back in the pages to find older posts about ..... say like recently ""Criminal Minds"" so I don't start yet another new post about something that isn't real old.

The reason I bring this up because some say they can't fine a thread they are looking for, and if they are in Popular thread they only see those that are read often, instead the complete list which is on Recent forum which has all of the treads listed on current page.

I think I understand what you are saying (I'm always the last to get a point). I don't click on on particular thread (as in Beauty Thread).

I like to read threads from each group of people. I think everyone has something to contribute.

On some level that is true but if there is no foundation core principles it will all tumble in the end... One could end up in a place they might fine very unpalatable and no return...

either one stands for something or they stand for nothing....

BY the way I am not talking about subject or topic, I am talking about seeing the complete list vs the selective popular top 10 for that subject or topic. It has nothing to do with the left column subject list, it has to do with top of the page of each subject.

Well, I go to specific forums first. Then click on threads that interest me and read the posts if I'm interested. I don't go from top to bottom necessarily. I almost never go to Shoes, Jewely, Accesories, or Mom to Mom. Some , I go to but seldom post because there seem to be cliques so they won't respond to me no matter what I post. They seem to know each other. Other than posting about my soaps, I like Electronics, and Health & Fitness......those are my learning forums. Never go to Blogs either.

One also interprets an answer the way one wishes to interpret an answer. The particular interpretation can be an askew.

I agree with foxxie in that there are cliques on the QVC forum. I don't see that happening here, as each person here (in my opinion) is excellent in stating their ideas.

I like it here because posters are able to post without criticizing others. This sentence pretty much sums up why I like it on the TV forum.

This has nothing to do with the left column on options to click on.

At present we are in the Entertainment section or be could be in Health section etc., on the top of each of these sites the Headings is called THREAD FORUM with live links to choose do you only want to see the Popular forum Titles or all the Titles you would want to be in Recent forum

I AM NOT REFERING TO THIS LIST AT ALL it has nothing to do with changing what you see or don't see.

I do now. I learned my lesson a while back. I had been reading a particular thread in a forum and was called away from the computer. When I returned, I clicked on the wrong tab to start a new thread and answer a question, from a poster, on the previous thread I was reading.

A nasty, bsc poster ripped me a new one for the mistake and for my new thread's topic.

Thank goodness for the ignore feature.
