Petula Clark on CBS Sunday Morning

Did anyone see the segment they did on her yesterday? It was interesting She is 85 and still touring and performing. I always liked her music and remember seeing her on Ed Sullivan. It brought back memories from my teenage years.

Yes , she is great at that age and she is amazing touring .

I remember reading David Cassidys book and he said she was a great women and he enjoyed his time doing blood brothers in New York with her and his family liked her too.

I wish David had lived a longer life too he should still be touring .

I saw Petula Clark on Broadway doing Blood Brothers with David Cassidy and Sean Cassidy. It was a great play.

@twinsister Thanks, twin, I just watched the whole thing. You can find it with her name, CBS and it will come up. I couldn't get the exact address but you will find it. She is amazing. I wonder what she eats for breakfast?? (lunch and dinner).

twin, actually, I wanted to thank you is why I addressed it to you, and then just added the rest of the info for anyone looking for it. If it was a repeat, she was still 85 so I don't think so. But regardless, I liked knowing what she's doing now.

That segment was taped when she appeared at Ramshead on State in Annapolis -- I think it was December 14, 2017.

DH and I talked about going, but had another commitment that night.

I'm sorry we missed her! Her singing is still fab!

I just watched the video too

How pretty she is and I never knew she was a child star, nor that Julie Andrews was!

"growing radishes"- so funny.

She seems like such an interesting, funny, and humble person-so neat and just right to think of her and Julie Andrews as friends.

We are about an hour from the venue where she appeared and go there often. They often showcase stars that no longer play huge arenas.

I checked my emails (I get their notices for concerts), and could not believe it had been that long ago!

That particular segment had been show before, but I surely enjoyed watching it again

I watch Ed Sullivan reruns on the Decades Channel in the evening, Petula is often on there thru the years.

The episode with her was a repeat (I'd seen it before). She is doing so well! I'm 71 so I remember her and her music.

Now I've got her song running through my head! Ha!

I love that show! I DVR it every Sunday morning. I wish there were more shows like that.

@Shelbelle - Have you heard that Decades Channel is being replaced by a new channel called Start TV beginning Sept. 3rd.? Not sure about your area, but I think here in NYC, we are going to lose it, unless it is moved to another channel number. Very disappointed, because I like Decades. I don't like most of the shows listed under the Start TV line up.
