Showtime the channel: do you watch?

We just finished and enjoyed the entire series Homeland. Since Showtime is not a part of our current cable package, just wondering your thoughts on the programming offered? Not sure if we will upgrade.

I watch things from all of the channels. When I sign up for anything I get all of whatever it is. For instance nothing bothers me more than to know I can't see something on a channel. I recently signed up for XM radio (I'd stopped listening, but then talk radio went off regular radio), so I signed up for every station offered.

When I bought my Acura a few years ago I bought everything offered on it. I am getting ready to buy a new car and I will buy everything offered on it. Just me.

So, I probably have watched some of it at different times.

OK, yes, I do watch some of those. I don't pay any attention to what channels they are on though.

I'm having some kind of issues with my "favorites" button. I'm going crazy. It shows under List 1 and List 2 my favorite channels are tagged, but when I push the 'favorites' button, they don't come up!

I need to go from Comcast Cable to Verizon but am too lazy, I hate change.

Thanks for the info birkin. Sometimes I wonder where my brain is..

It's not worth it to me. After the first month, you'll have seen everything. They play the same shows for over six months to a year. I'd rather wait a year and watch the shows on Netflix.

When a new season of one of Showtime's series starts (I watch several of their series), it's definitely worth it to me. Once the season ends for the series I watch, the programming can get a little repetitive, but there's usually a few movies a month that I haven't seen before (some of them older, but I don't mind it because I love movies -- new and old), and that makes it worth it to me. I can't recall what I'm paying for Showtime, but I have it bundled with HBO, and it isn't that much a month, so having Showtime is worth it to me.

BTW, not sure if you know, but the new season of Homeland will be starting in 2 1/2 weeks. :-)

celery, I just saw the show that brought everyone from the beginning to present. It was excellent.

After that I feel like I could sit and watch Homeland and know what was going on.

Anyone interested in beginning now to watch it......I suggest you go on line and watch this synopsis it is great.

I think most of their movies stink but I do pay for this channel so that I can get Masters of S. and Homeland.

Two of my favorite Showtime shows are Homeland and Nurse Jackie. You could also watch Homeland on Netfilx.

Comcast is giving it to me free for 6 months, after that I will say goodbye to it.

I like Nurse Jackie too. I know a real life Nurse Jackie. There are more of them than people realize. Sadly......
