Assassination of Gianni Versace - Episode 4

Well I didn't plan on watching any of this crime story, and now I'm officially obsessed. This was another creepy episode that was done really good.

"David Madson, a semi-closeted Minneapolis architect had the misfortune of attracting Cunanan’s amorous attention".

Make sure you set your house alarm! I had all the Blinks alarmed 5 minutes in.

I had decided not to watch the remaining episodes but couldn't stop watching; I did close my eyes for the most gory parts.

I was so cheering David on to squeeze through that restroom window.

The actor who plays Andrew C. is so convincing.

If I ever saw him in person, I would run as fast as my legs would take me.

And yet, tried running through the woods in his bare feet before Cunanan popped out from behind a tree. I think the writers goofed up on that one thinking nobody would notice.

The actor protraying Cunanan should win an Emmy. He is just too d@mn convincing.

I found the last two episodes extremely sad. They didn't show how Lee Miglin was actually killed. It was horrendous. At least the killer shot Versace and the blonde guy from this past week. It appears that Lee's death was the most brutal.

Yes to the post above. The actor playing Cunanan is excellent in this part. I can't recall his real name, but read that he just got engaged to his girlfriend of many years. He looks different if you see his pic when he's not playing this role. He's a good looking guy and his girlfriend is very pretty.

The story is definitely very disturbing though I'm enjoying watching this series. I'll be glad when Versace and his particular story is shown again.

@colliemom4, his name is Darren Criss who played Blaine, Kurt's love on Glee. He is excellent in this. I find this series to really be more about Andrew Cunanan than Gianni Versace. I guess the title The Andrew Cunanan Saga wouldn't have gotten as much attention!

@Jordan2 Thank you for posting his name. I knew he was in Glee, though I wasn't a viewer. Yes, so far this show seems to be more about Andrew. However, I do hope they move away from him some and focus more on the other characters.

@MarkeieMark Yes. I don't know about anyone else, but this show really makes me think about creeps like him that are out there.

@pateacher When he went back to the table it was so depressing. It was obvious they had a codependent relationship, but I also think the weight of personal grief David had witnessing the murder was just too much for him to think straight.

Another fan! This series is so strong, emotional and sad. I do feel it....a sign of great acting, Darrin Criss and his co- stars! This and The Feud are the very best that I have seen and believe me, I have watched alot of tv and films in my lifetime! (The restroom window was too small for an escape.) Ryan Murphy is producing fine work....

I finally got around to watching last week's episode, and I found it even more intense and difficult to watch than the previous week's. We knew he was going to kill David, but we just didn't know when, and that was really tough to watch. I thought that it was nice how they portrayed David going into the shack, seeing his father and getting some closure. Even though the murder was brutal, I felt that it was nice how they portrayed it as if he found some peace. I have to say that I'm happy that we've seen all the murders, so we won't have to watch anymore of the brutality.

I was also wondering about why David did not run, even on the street while walking the dog??!! Frozen from fear and shock or Stockholm syndrome ?So sad....

@SANNA I think "frozen from fear and shock" is the perfect way to describe it. The actor did a wonderful job of making you feel like you were right there with him.
