Netflix removed free movies to stream and added them to dvd pay

Some favorites I always watched and re-watched on Netflix were included in my streaming only choice as I do not like to pay for dvd rentals, rather buy them if I really want them.

In any event now I see many of my favorites are no longer on Netflix streaming but rather on Netflix DVD's which are an additional paid for service.

I tried a free trial membership with Netflix last year and found that everything I wanted to watch wasn't available for streaming. I've been much happier with Amazon Prime's choices.

Both services, Amazon Prime and Netflix, rent the right to stream movies and once those leases are up the movies disappear from the streams on both services.

Glad to read some replies.

I subscribe to Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Huluplus.

I enjoy them all for different reasons......and still do not miss cable tv at all.......especially not the loads of commercials, one after the other, along with the very loud volume which is so irritating, and the the constant increase in price with no end in sight.

Too much corporate greed without any quality service like years ago in the 90's when I originally got cable tv and then it was cheaper with more channels included in your package deal, and there were no commercials at all. Then cable tv was worth it, but not now, at least not for me.

Unfortunately there are still people without access to WiFi other than satellite which is incredibly expensive and wouldn't make streaming video in any volume possible. I'd love to have all your options.

Living in a large metropolitan environment offers many internet options which unfortunately other more remote areas perhaps do not, and for that I am truly sorry.

I hope your situation eventually can change so Wi Fi will become an option.

adoreqvc - thanks . Unfortunately there are no plans for cable or WiFi anytime in the foreseeable future. Living in a rural area comes with a high price for technology.
