Patrick broke the #2 and #3 cardinal rules of Survivor--#2--he was annoying and unaware how annoying he was, even after he was told. #3--once you start failing in a challenge, tap out.

I'm sure you all want to know the #1 rule. LEARN HOW TO MAKE FIRE BEFORE YOU GET THERE!

In any case, the look on his face will go down in Survivor history. As for his comments afterwards--has he not seen this game? Refer to the cardinal rules.

I am glad that on the Healers Cole outed Joe about the idol. I think telling the others was the right thing. Why would you not unless you want the others to not trust you.

I read that Jeff Propst said the last 1/3rd of the season is fantastic, with big surprises every episode. So, I guess that means the first 2/3rds of the season will be slow.

The tribe swap this early is ridiculous. Read a spoiler that for the spring season they have two tribes of ten each. Hope it's true and that they keep the two tribes intact for more than three episodes.

Cole telling his team members Joe has an idol will come back and bite him in the butt. Joe will find out and we know how vocal Joe is. Knowing he blabbed to everyone, why would anyone of his old team members trust him? Now that the teams have merged, others will hear about this.

Are we sure it is a merge and they are just not switching up the teams?

Cole telling everyone may actually help if you are put on another team with Joe. You could get Joe to protect you if in the minority.

We're sure it's not a merge, it's a tribe swap. It's my fault, I used the word "merge" and started it. Sorry. I'm having a problem with mixing things up, and hopefully it's just stress.

@dawg lover, I've read conflicting things. If you can explain it I'll be grateful. It does seem that would have been a better theme for fall, Halloween, even though actual ghosts are not involved LOL.

@LoriLori - I have read conflicting things as well, from Redmond (Martin Holmes), but it seems interesting. I like when they shake things up! I thought there were going to be 3 tribes, with 2 competing in challenges and then the members of the third tribe, the ones who live on Ghost Island, can be voted onto a tribe to take the place of someone who's leaving. I'm not entirely sure how it will work, but I look forward to it. I agree, it should have been shown in the fall!
