I was curious what my QVC friends who watched NBC's live production of <EM>The Sound of Music</EM> thought of the show? My opinion is the music was well done and I enjoyed the songs. They didn't try to reinvent anything , so it was ideal for singing along. Hurrah to the producers for using the stage musical soundtrack and including ALL of the original songs (some of which were not featured in the classic movie --including my favorite <EM>How Can Love Survive</EM>). I thought Carrie Underwood did a fine job handling the singing aspect of the Maria role, but she was a little weak with her acting.
