Have seen lots of coming attractions for shows which look interesting on Amazon Prime am thinking about subscribing and trying this channel out.

Any of you Ladies have this - would welcome any opinions. Thank you.

I have it but it just depends on what you like. Does amazon still have the 30 day free prime preview?

I am enjoying Bosch as I love Michael Connelley's mysteries. There are so many series I am going to watch eg. The Last Tycoon.

@culebra @lovescats Thank you for your replies. Yes I am signing up for 30 day free trial. Love Bosch series books did not know this was series on Amazon - did also see preview for Last Tycoon which promoted me to decide to check this channel out.

I loved Goliath with Billy Bob Thornton. It was great, and I think I've read that there will be a Season 2.

I watch British programs and documentaries on Amazon Prime ;-)

I'm not that drawn to their own programming but I am planning to watch the series on Zelda Fitzgerald starring Christina Ricci.

Signed up for Amazon prime last week to see if I liked it better than Netflix.

Two movies I was interested in seeing - they were not free on Amazon prime

but were free on Netflix. Going to give it a few more weeks before deciding

which one I'll keep. I hope Netflix wins to avoid that $99 prime fee.

I have both and use them for different purposes when it comes to shows to view. I use Amazon Prime primarily for Television shows. I seem to never have time to watch shows when they are actually on TV. LOL I tend to lean towards cop shows. Justified, The Wire, Blue Bloods, Flash Point. I love being able to watch these shows with multiple seasons at my pace.

I use Netflix primarily for Movies. I have the lowest plan which allows me to rent just two movies a month, but that works out to be enough for me.

When you add in the prime shipping and books that you can download it's well worth the $99.00 cost.

I have it and just about everything else. I've never even used it or the other 'things' I have. I'm having trouble keeping up with the cable shows I like to watch and I'm a TV addict. So many shows, so little time! I just be bored very easily and I'm lazy (about tuning into some shows).

When I was in rehab with my knees I binged on the Wire. I saw it when it was on the first time but wanted to rewatch it.

I don't usually binge on a show because I have the attention span of a fruit fly (Ha).

I just heard today where Shonda Rhimes will now have shows on Netflix. They're saying that is a huge loss for ABC.

I've had Amazon Prime for years and love it. I don't have cable TV and don't think I'm likely to ever want it again. I stream through the Fire TV Stick and really enjoy it.

I enjoy a lot of the Amazon original shows.

I think Netflix is better for relatively current shows and movies. I watched a few things on Prime, but haven't found anything recently to enjoy. So far, I haven't liked any of the content produced specifically by Amazon, so those shows are not a draw for me.

Amazon Prime member for,. at least 10 yr... LOVE IT,.. literally nothing bad, at all, to say about it... but,.. heres what I have learned, in all of that time...once you have watched all of the shows, that interest you,.. which, can be retalitevely fast, suprisingly,... you get left with options of some pretty odd movie/show options. Sound weird, right? lol

I much prefer to pay Netflix, if anyone wants my 2 cents...its just more options, if you ask me.. u have to pay for both, .. if you are a shopper, and, free shipping benefits u - go for Prime, if not, and you're just shopping for movie/vid content,.. go Netflix..

I've had Prime for a few years and don't see myself ever running out of new shows to enjoy. They are always adding new TV shows and movies. And the older ones offered are great, too. There is a lot to choose from. I don't pay for anything extra other than Prime.

I do watch through my Fire TV Stick and it offers additional free viewing in addition to Prime.
