I guess everyone is going to express themselves in the way they want to be seen, but she was quite beautiful. Still has great features, but I don't care for the new look. But....I'm sure she doesn't care what I think! LOL

No kidding. From her long relationship with the Twilight co-star, to her fling with the other guy to her coming out. I am sure she is much happier and at peace now. At least I hope so. That poor girl was really put through the media wringer.

Yes, she really let her hair down -by just cutting it off completely- when she came out. At least she no longer feels inhibited, clearly.

She definitely has a signature look.

Even though the short Susan Powter/Miley Cyrus hair isn't a look

I could pull off, I have sososososo much respect for someone that

sports this look. I see it as a sign of total self-confidence.

I always thought she had pretty eyes, but regardless of her look of choice, I don't think she's particularly attractive... Not unattractive, just nothing special...

The time I first really saw her was on Saturday Night Live as the host.

I have seen pictures of her in passing in the past. She always looked PO'd to me.

Or she would like to punch you.

Beautiful girl, woman now. When I saw her publicizing Twilight she always looked so nervous and uncomfortable. It made me like her because I could relate to feeling that way about putting yourself out there. And she was young and trying to cope with the spotlight.

Maybe then she wasn't comfortable in her own skin and now she is. I think she rocks that look.

Katy Perry also has a very short (not that short though) blond 'do that I don't think suits her. Dark har suits her much better. I don't like her current hair.

I don't like this particular look. But I love short hair on some people-- Michelle Williams looks darling to me, and Halle Berry always looks great with short hair. And Mia Farrow's late "Sinatra period" was marked by her chopping off her hair in a charming pixie. I especially like the ultra-short hair look on someone who has an ethereal, elfin, or otherwise delicate-seeming persona...

For me, I am happy for her. I think she is beautiful and has the bone structure to carry off just about any look or haircut. In all honesty, this current phase in her life is the first time when I see unfiltered photos of her where she looks natural and happy. Previously she always looked very sullen so for me I am glad she has found herself and wish her the best.

@Oznell That was "happening" around that time. First Twiggy then Mia Farrow (think Rosemary's baby during which she cut it, to Frank Sinatra's horror I've read), Audrey Hepburn's pixie, etc.

Seems to be a trend-Katy Perry, that model Carla Delivinge (spelling?) and Kristen. Don't like it, but none of my business. I think she was much prettier with long hair (Kristen), but I'm old fashioned.
