I just watched an episode where they redid a funky little home with vibrant colors, totally different than their usual neutrals -- loved it!

I debated whether to post post this here or in Home😏😜😏

I am, at this moment, watching this episode. i don't usually watch these types of shows at all. But the other day I saw a promo for this episode and something compelled me to record it.

I always liked Nate, anyway.

I still think about when he returned from Indonesia after the Tsunami and his having lost his love. I can still feel his broken heart.

Of all the newer shows on the home/garden channels, this one is my definitive favorite. Always liked Nate, Jeremiah is good and their little Poppy is absolutely adorable. It's an enjoyable show and thank goodness, not everything is grey and white.

I remember that show very well. I am so glad he is happy again. He and Jeremiah seem so happy and they are both really cute and their little girl is the cutest thing ever.

I watched this episode too, Tansy, and enjoyed it very much! I enjoyed the whimsy of the colors. It was so different from the usual decor that you see on these shows. I had never heard of the artist, "Shag" and was delighted to see how they went to the Shag showroom and the artist donated his painting. I thought that was very charitable. It was so touching when the recipient spotted the painting, identified the redhead in the painting and gleefully shouted, "It's ME! And I'm DANCING!!!" To me, that was something really special and really tied into what Nate & Jeremiah were trying to achieve with that house. Magical!

I happened to binge watch a few of the episodes yesterday and discovered that I really like this show. (Great time to discover this on the day of their season finale...LOL!) It truly is different from a lot of the other shows in that they, the designers, really try to maintain the homeowner's decor aesthetic/taste above their own. This "color" show was the perfect example. They seemed to embrace the challenge of doing something that was the complete antithesis of their taste/preference. I think other shows definitely try to incorporate the homeowner's taste/preferences, but this show seems to take it to another level where each project looks completely different. To me, this show is really about DIFFERENT decorating and design ideas...which I find refreshing.

POPPY! . . . I love the show overall as I appreciate how the show and explain various tips and tricks but POPPY! . . . she is my fave rave and clearly Nate and Jeremiah are such great parents . . . so glad to see how happy they all are together and best wishes on baby number two!

Oh @Bri36 whenever they show that clip of her standing on the kitchen counter with those adorable toeless moccasins rocking out to her own tunes I can't take it . . . so great to see a happy and healthy family!

Tee hee, you know @Bri36 what struck me was her outfit with the said moccasins accompanied by a yellow dress and a camouflage coat with rolled up sleeves. What struck me the most as although the show does feature vendors prominently throughout the show (which is expected if they are donating their products) I have never seen a designer label hanging off of Poppy . . . for me, I really appreciate that . . . .
