Just read actor Michael Parks passed away, 77.

That's sad, we use to see him on t.v. years ago, quite a bit. So sad.

He had an intense quality sort of reminiscent of James Dean, did he not? He had that trick of being able to project conflicting different emotions, all at one time... RIP.

@Oznell he starred in a short lived but for me long remembered series called "Then Came Bronson" and I agree was very James Dean-esque. . . he was probably one if not the first crush of my life . . . I am sorry to hear of his passing, RIP Mr. Parks and thanks for the memories . . .

He was so hot, I remember him in Then Came Bronson, I did have to look that up, since it was on TV when I was a mid teen

@qualitygal Recently, I viewed Alfred Hitchcock's episode "The Cadaver" from the Alfred Hitchcock hour shows. I knew the face of the primary actor, so googled for a name, and it was Michael Parks.

He had something, that's for sure. I'd say he was a true method actor. We actually saw him in a movie the other night. I said to DH,'Look! Who is that? It's Bronson!' My DH said,'Yeah, Parks.' Then I had it. Michael Parks-Along Came Bronson. He looked pretty old but pretty much the same. He was so cool in his day. I'm sorry to hear this. Bronson always made it thru the tough times. I guess this one was a little too tough. So sorry.

I know. He sort of reminds me of Troy Donahue, another major heart throb. So sorry they are both gone.

Thank goodness for Turner Classic Movies where they never change and we get to see them at their prime.
