Is anyone else a fan of Keith Morrison on Dateline?

As an FYI for those of you who are, he's got a new show coming up on March 5th on ID: 'Keith Morrison Investigates'.

I love his narrations on Dateline, and am always so happy when I tune in & it's one of his episodes. His rising & falling baritone with a touch of the macabre thrown in is such a delight to listen to, and no one can turn a phrase the way he does!

I love Keith Morrison and his voice. I didn't know he had a show of his own coming up, so thanks for letting us know!

Love him! My husband is also a fan, but I'm the one who watches zillions of real crime shows and I've enjoyed seeing him more lately. His voice and his inflection is like no other.

So glad that I'm not the only fan around here!

The only reason I know about his new show, is that for once I didn't fast forward through the commercials when watching something on ID the other night. (I DVR everything.)

Anyway, I was thrilled to see that he's got his own show, so here's to Season One on March 5th, all you crime show fans!

All I see for this new show is a two-episode piece called 'Murder in Lehigh Valley'. I scheduled that.

@sabatini Thank you for the info. I am a big fan of his shows, I'll be sure to check it. I enjoy almost all of the real-life crime shows (my DH calls them - who dun its).

i just love k.m. he tells a wonderful story and he has a twinkle in his eye.

i forget the actor's name that narrated city confidential years ago before he died. he was mesmerizing.

One of my favorite narrators was Peter Thomas. Unfortunately, he died recently (I want to say last March, but not positive). He was one of a kind.

I also really like Sharon Martin.

Like Keith Morrison, both of these have unique voices and are mesmerizing.

Always interested in Dateline. Keith Morrison is a little creepy but very entertaining as a narrator.

Funny you should bring Keith Morrison up. I noticed on last week's episode that you could have his voice on WAZE gps so I changed mine. Haven't used it yet but am planning a trip soon. I had not realized that his voice was in demand.

His phrasing and choice of words is so unique, that I googled it to see if he wrote the dialogue for the shows he narrates. Turns out that he doesn't do the initial draft, but does rewrite it in his own style.

They used these as an example:

"Outside, the night, in a full moon, bathed the great houses of delight and sin..." or "There is a letter, written more than 60 years ago — a prophecy? Perhaps. A warning? Certainly."

Love it!

I do like him. His voice and rather creepy presentation adds to the suspense of the story. Bill Hader, formerly of "SNL," did such a great impression of Keith M!

I downloaded the gps app with his voice....DH and I get a kick out of it since we are a fan of his voice also (:
