Where are all The Walking Dead Fans?

Have I missed a Thread someplace? At least the mid season finale ended on somewhat of a good note. Rick's group are headed to where Maggie, Sasha and Enid are staying, they decided it is time to fight Negan. He kills people without blinking an eye. Negan's reaction to Spencer was interesting, rather than being taken up on it he got killed for it. Poor Olivia, she didn't deserve to die.

Well now we wait until February for the next episode. Why does it seem we wait so long and it ends so quickly? If any of you watched The Talking Dead did you see the necklace with Negan's baseball on it? I'm going on line out of curiosity to see how much they cost and if not too much I might be tempted to buy one.

I don't think there's very many of us TWD fans on here. I loved the ending! I give it a 10 for ending on a high note, even though it may be unreasonable for the group to be so positive at this point. I think the positivity came partly from all being together again and having a common goal. This whole season everyone has been off on their own tangents and not working together, and they always do better together, right? Right!

I thought the necklace was cool!

I bought 2 on Amazon for $12.95 each; one for my daughter, one for a friend.

When he was promoting the necklace he (Chris Hardwick) said he felt like he was on QVC! Then he went into a whole presentation Q style! For the record I couldn't find the gold plated one that he was 'selling'

As for the mid season finale it wasn't the greatest although it was good to find out what was going on with the different characters.

Is it just me or are the women of the apocalypes getting harder and harder to sympathize with?? I'm really disliking most of them!

I was a devoted WD fan up until a couple seasons ago when I just couldn't handle the intense mental, emotional abuse this situation can cause. Got me so wired up that I was really stressing over it. And now that Negan has been brought into the mix, and what he did to Glenn and what a total evil, nasty, smart a8ss, SOB and how he deals with people--I just can't watch anymore. I do read the spoilers tho. It's hard to watch someone tear down a human being piece by piece. And the scary part--that very thing is happening now somewhere in our world, minus the zombies, of course. Still think the show rocks and that the actors deserve some accolades.

I've been wondering why no threads myself. I remember we used to have such great discussions about the show. I no longer have any comments because I stopped watching as soon as Glenn was killed; I didn't even finish that episode and have not seen it or The Talking Dead since.

I was beginning to get bored with the show anyway, and Glenn's death was the push that I needed to stop watching.

I was more taken aback with the baseball bat. Giving everyone in the audience one?? Oh good grief. Wouldn't want to be in that parking lot after the show.

I'm a fan.....and yes...I've noticed we haven't had any new threads lately so I assumed people lost interest.

Negan has brought an element of evil to this show that is difficult for many to watch. I think this guy does a brilliant acting job despite my dislike of his character. And I hate to admit this but I was glad to see Spencer get taken out by Negan....he tried to sell out Rick and heck...apparently even Negan has principals when it comes to a person willing to sell out their leader per say.

I was glad to see Daryl get out of that place.

Anyone else think the little reunion of Rick and gang will be short-lived?

I stopped watching. I recorded all of this season, but deleted them without watching them after I decided I just couldn't watch Negan kill Glenn. In my world, Glenn gets to live forever.

Maybe I'll go back and watch later, but for now, I just can't do it.

Nice to hear from all of you. As for the necklace I may or may not buy one. I was considering it as a momento of the show, might wear it, might not. When the group left to meet up with Maggie and the others Carol was not with them, she has suddenly decided to become a recluse but she'll be back with her fighting spirit.

Time for me to start packing, we are moving and there is soooooooooooooooo much to do. Happy Holidays to all of you.

I'm still watching, but I'm fairly bored and the Negan character is just too idiotic.

I do most of my tv show posting on other boards where everybody plays by the same rules. For some of us, you can't even open some threads because people post spoilers (without spoiler-tagging them) in non-spoiler threads and then you go in a spoiler thread and people spoiler-tag the spoilers. I pretty much gave up.

But, anyway, as to the show, it feels like they have lost some viewers in general this season. I haven't even watched last night's episode yet and probably won't for a day or two. It used to be one of the shows I watched quickly.

The 12/11/16 episode was good, you will like it.

It may be just me, but although Negan was ruthless, he kind of backed off when Rick showed up. Negan could have done worse.

It was one of the better episodes of Season 7.

Lots of foreboding. Setting up for the first new episode in February, which I believe will be incredible.

So funny you mentioned that, Software! I was just reading at another board about this current episode and it seemed like a lot of people were liking it much more than the other episodes lately.

I love the acting in this show and that has kept me watching it. My husband thought this season was a little slow. I thought this last episode was a 10, and maybe because it ended on an upbeat note with everyone smiling at each other, it makes us feel better about things to come.

This season was slow. It took us on a tour of all of the groups in the area and how Negan impacted them.

Next season we will see all of these groups get together and fight Negan's group. All of the groups are small, but together they can do the job. I think even the women Tara found who live near the ocean will get involved.

Who do you think gave Daryl the key that allowed him to escape? I think is either Dwight or Sherri. They show signs of not being happy and I think they will turn against Negan if they have the chance.

I think we will see Maggie be in charge of the Hill Top group. The people there seem willing to give her that job.

Rick has the instructions for making ammo that Eugene gave him. Someone will take over and make ammo while Eugene is doing the same for Negan's group.

Get ready for February 12, the start of the next series. I hope I get to see

them on Sunday nights every week. We will be in Florida for the whole month of February. I am not sure if we will have AMC or great internet while we are there.

The above Info is just my theory. I could be wrong.

@Lindsays Grandma I was just about to drag the thread over. I loved last night, glad to know they are finally going to be fighting back. I wonder why the break is two months, too long. I also really like the episode Swear with Terra starring.

@mousiegirl There has always been a break for Walking Dead around this time. The next series will have a big cliff hanger and then we will have to wait for fall for it to continue.

Fear the Walking Dead works that way too. There is a big break between 2 seasons.

I dunno. Maybe they think people are too busy to watch during the holiday season and during the summer months or maybe to give the actors a break. I know they shoot the scenes every day for weeks at a time during the hot summer months.
