@Shelbelle I looked and couldn't find anything. One would think there would be mention in one of the rags as a brief aside that he broke his ankle or something.

I wonder if it's part of the story line.

I really like Oliver Platt .... hope he's okay. I also like this show .... nice balance with the medical cases and the personal lives of the staff.

I watched an occasional episode last season, maybe half of them. So I assumed that there was a storyline re the wheelcair that I totally missed.

I really like this show, too. Last season with Gregg Henry playing a Cardiothoracic Surgeon Guru who groomed a young physician was especially good. I won't divulge any more in case somebody wants to watch Season 1 on Hulu.

I do miss the middle eastern physician & the resident he ended up with from last season.

The brother doctors story really had me choked up.

Richard Wolf, of Law and Order fame, is an excellent producer. Most of the stories on L & O are taken from real life stories and it lookes like he will keep the same M O going on.

@I am still oxox MamaWick just said that the poster was mixing up Chicago Med with Code Black. I was very confused when I read the comments, too.

I find myself mixing up this show with Night Shift...I'll think where's so and so? Thinking who took over for the guy who lost his job at the end of the season? Then I catch myself...this is not Night Shift!

I Apologize with my confusing post. The Partzheimer's is kicking in. I got Chicago Med mixed up with Code Black. Code Black lost Neal & Christa due to budget cuts (Raza Jaffrey & Bonnie Somerville who played the EC Attending & his resident). They had top billing under Marcia Gae Harden. Disappointed.

ALSO on Code Black are Angus & Mario Leighton, brothers. Angus is a resident while his older brother, Mike, arrives mid season 1 as a bit of a big wig physician.

My brain got my medical shows mixed up LOL.

I am glad that the writers did not put Dr Halstead & Dr Manning together. I like Dr M with her deceased husband's best friend, med student Jeff Clarke.

Dr Halstead had to grow on me. I wouldn't mind a pairing between EC Head RN Maggie Lockwood & Halstead.

I really like Dr. Manning with Jeff, too. I think that's a great pairing. It looks like Dr. Halstead will be paired up with the new doctor that he seems so interested in.

I'm also glad they didn't hook them up and I like her with the med student, but Dr. Halstead still hasn't grown on me...maybe in time.
