Are Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton splitting up? One of this week’s tabloids claims the couple is “headed for heartbreak.” Find out what’s going on here!

According to In Touch, Stefani “might have to call off her relationship” with Shelton. “After seven months, the honeymoon period is over for the No Doubt front woman and the country star,” declares the magazine. A so-called “source” is quoted as saying, “Gwen and Blake are starting to realize that they are very different people.”

“The things they were most attracted to in each other have now become issues between them,” continues the supposed snitch, who then dishes the classic tabloid line, “They’re on the rocks.” As proof, the outlet points to paparazzi photos of Stefani and Shelton at an airport last Saturday, with an “eyewitness” saying, “They didn’t look like the happiest couple… Gwen seemed very upset. It seemed like they were frustrated.”

Of course, In Touch fails to mention that Stefani gave a surprise performance at Shelton’s concert later that day, and doted on him for his 40th birthday. Still, the tabloid claims “constant quarrels about their divergent lifestyles could be to blame” for their supposed problems. The alleged tipster adds, “They may have rushed into things — there is just so much driving them apart.”

It’s pretty rich that In Touch is talking about rushing into things when the magazine said Stefani was expecting a baby girl in January. That was followed by a report last month saying she might have twins after freezing her eggs. Naturally, neither claim is mentioned now in this new story.

Stefani and Shelton have certainly given renewed meaning to “opposites attract,” and that’s still working for them. It’s entirely possible the couple will break up at some point, but right now, this split speculation is premature. As Stefani’s own rep told Gossip Cop only a few weeks ago, In Touch “just makes stuff up.”

Well. If they helped each other over their break-ups then maybe it was good that they got together. We don't know whole story, but they seem like nice people.

According to Yahoo! OK magazine (which I've never read) has a cover story saying they're married!!!! I tend not to believe these things unless - maybe - I read them in People magazine!

I saw the OK magazine cover saying they were just married. Part of me thinks that relationship is mostly a publicity stunt to get higher ratings for their show. Not a Blake fan here, but wish them well regardless.

I suppose this came from a "a knowledgeable source". I'm pretty sure that just a day or two ago I read about the romantic swooning and crooning that went on at his birthday celebration. The'll break up someday....but not this week....lol

He skeeves me out so much. Furthermore, I get a really bad vibe from him so there is something there that's either very much not right or just not good.

One thing that seems to be in common for most famous people is that they cannot seem to be alone for five minutes. As soon as they break up, they are already with the next person. I've known people like that and it's frustrating because they just jump into the next thing, never for the right reasons so needless to say it never seems to work out.

I think she's gorgeous, but I'm not a fan of Blake. He's just "ok".

I don't like either one of them so it doesn't matter.... Blake's foul mouth turns me off and Gwen, she has no singing voice....

I like Gwen's voice too. She's scheduled to be in Charlotte, NC, for a concert next month, and I'm going to try to go. Aft seeing what happened to Mike Wallace after a recent Rascal Flatts concert in Charlotte, I'm a little hesitant to go, though. Gotta be careful out there.

I think Gwen wanted to get back at Gavin (who could blame her) and Blake was available. That's not to say they don't have a legitimate romance but they sure seem to be different types of people. Opposites attract I guess.
