The Big Brother 18 Houseguests have been announced!

My first post on this got poofed, so I apparently can't describe the houseguests, but head to any of the BB sites to see them for yourself.

I didn't see what was deleted, but I just did a quick google search, and saw pics of the new houseguests. Haven't read their bios, yet. Will read more later.

We only got twelve house guests announced which gives credence to the theory of another coaches season. The oldest of the twelve is fifty. Most are in their early twenties. It's an attractive cast.

I'm sure the 50 year old guy will be one of the first targeted. He definitely looks like a former police detective.

So are they still announcing more details at 4 PM today?

You must have had some pretty colorful descriptions! Either that or the powers that be are not in a good mood today.

Well, that's frustrating. I'd much rather read your descriptions and thoughts than find out on my own. I know, I'm spoiled, but I bet a lot of others here agree. We have our own BB journalist and he should not be censored!

I see Tiffany Rousso will be a houseguest. I didn't realize she's a high school teacher. I also saw a tweet from Vanessa thanking BB for letting her out of sequester to play in a poker tournament, but I think she was being facetious. Does this mean she's playing, or is a coach?

My favorite description, though, was a 50 year old man from Bronx, NY who's a retired police detective turned dog groomer. There must be a good story behind that change of occupation!

Okay, this is bad. I want my information from you Gardenman, and I know a lot of people feel the same. I cannot imagine why your post was poofed as "inappropriate' and it begs the question:

Is this the first BB season since the Q has moderated its boards? Because if they keep poofing your posts, Gardenman, it's going to bite.

Not that the Moderators would care that little ole me leaves the boards, but I will definitely be outta here if they make our Gardenman tone down his BB descriptions!! Some of us wait a whole year to get our "updates" from Gman!

I have almost stopped reading and posting here anyway, but I will definitely be done if our Gardenman cannot continue his hilarious posts!

This is year two of moderation. Last year I got a 24 hour ban one day. I'll be posting the updates on my blog this year, then copying the blog posts here, so if things go badly here, as they're prone to doing, you all will still be able to read my posts on my blog. I suspect my description of Jozea (who adores Frankie) was the issue as I speculated on his orientation. (Which, truth be told is less speculation and more observation, but whatever.)

The interviews go up at four this afternoon. You don't learn a lot from the interviews as the house guests are asked pretty basic questions, but it's the first time you hear their voices. With a Paul and Paulie both in the game, I'm hoping one of them is the first evicted so I don't have to remember which is which. I'm guessing the speculation that Nicole will be returning is correct since we don't have any blonde women in the cast. BB has had house guests dye their hair in the past to get every color, so with no blondes, it implies a blonde girl will be a returner.

The first interview I watched was Corey and he has watched a couple of seasons. And thinks he'll be making more money after the show. Reminds me of Clay.

I've now watched all of the interviews and my personal early favorite is Michelle. None of them are scary this year though which is nice. Now we wait and see who the returning house guests are and how many there are.

Are they seriously concerned that you'll lure away so many posters that QVC will suffer from the loss? It's not like you're trying to sell Dysons or Vitamix blenders. Relax mods, it's just a freaking blog site!

The truth is that once the show starts they're probably going to want to read your commentary too, so if they keep deleting your posts perhaps we'll be reading their comments on your blog page.

It's a good thing the mods weren't here when we were doing BB9. That was a crazy season. We would have had most of the posts that season poofed. Anyway, you guys/gals can now understand why I'm posting everything on the blog first this season then copying and pasting it here.
