Hilary knows she has a wildcat in her hands now. Jill will kick her rear so bad she will go whining home to Devon. She's not messing with Ashley any more. Jill, will be Hilary's worst nightmare.

Yes...i do hope Jill takes care of her.......Hillary has such a shady past i am surprised they havent' dug up something on her for blackmail!!! But maybe Cane & Lily can cook up something now that they are trying to find a way to take care of Hillary....

They are sure making Summer out to be totally stupid falling for everything Luca is saying....and making her a little crybaby tattletale to Victor.........and i almost find it hard to believe that Victoria has abandoned her beloved office position as head of Newman for a booty call everytime something bothers her...

And i guess Victor will blackmail Adam in exchange for him admitting to doctoring the diary as he feels he would only get a bit more time.......and ugugugh can't watch Victor making out with the nurse....what prison lets you run to the nurses office multiple times a day...hahahahaha

yeah, and the guard must be thinking Ol' Vic must have something really wrong with him to need so many Dr. visits daily.

If I had to guess I'd say Eric B has something wrong with him right now in real life and that's why he's taking it easy in the scenes. I know he has had a hip replacement . Maybe he's had another. I'll have to look it up , but, I think he is 75. He just won't retire, though. LOL He's said in interviews he doesn't need the money he's set up his only son and grandkids, so, he's working just for the joy of it.

show is really on it's last legs. How many times can U marry and divorce the same person. How many times can Jabot and Newman duke it out.

How many times can you dry out then fall off the wagon again until you kill yourself. that town really needs a lot of body organs for transplants.

If, over the years, good writers had developed younger, supporting characters into 'lead' characters, then they could back-burner ole Vic and just pull him out of their bag of tricks on occasion without having him remain the near exclusive focus of the show. That's what successful soaps have historically done over the years. They develop younger characters to take over the more invovled story lines. Of course here, they can't really do that because this bunch of writers pretty much sucks when it comes to character development. They seem to think the show should be all plot driven and, well, the plots aren't all that compelling. Half of them seem pulled out of thin air. If the show is on its last legs it more or less deserves to be. They should've dumped this writing and production team long ago.

Many of you may think that because Victor is aging out, the show should move on without him. Unfortunately, you need to realize that Y&R is about Victor - not the younger actors. They've tried many younger characters through the years, but it always goes back to Victor, and one by one the younger people move on through the lives of Victor and Nikki and the other original characters - Nicholas, Victoria, Jack, etc. So if you enjoy this show, let's wish for a long, healthy life for Victor. He matters.

Must add it's good to see Jill back. Genoa City was a little bland without her.

yeah, when old Vic drops that will be the end for sure. Nobody else has been that mean, devious, cold hearted, etc.

Wish Luca would hurry up and show the goods he has on Victurdia to let her know he's got her by the short hairs.

What he wants to do is marry Summer keep her barefoot and pregnant at home and leaving him in the chief seat.

Not to knit pick but the only original character on Y&R is Jill and possibly Esther (though she's rarely on any more). The original families were the Fosters and the Brooks.

I am not a fan of Victor -- I rately watch scenes he's in anymore as it seems he always goes off on a rant and I can't stand to listen to him yell.

Time for Y&R to hire better writers who will come up with new story lines or new characters. I've been watching since the beginning and I've gotten to the point where I don't make it a priority to watch anymore.

Yeah, me, too. Don't know if it's because I'm older then I was when I first started watching, but, then, all the original cast are old too. LOL

Be interesting to see when it goes off the air how they choose to wrap it up or if they just close the door mid story line.

I tend to disagree to the extent that it doesn't have to be all about Victor. Many long running soaps had a variety of long-standing characters and actors and managed great story lines by introducing new characters, developing and making them intriguing enough that an audience wanted to follow them. That's how some of these shows stood the test of time generation after generation. When some of the long-term stalwarts reached retirement age, their characters were kept around, some even remained central, but in some cases they became almost 'cameo' players. This worked because by then the audience was invested in some of the younger characters... With the one possible exception being Adam, that simply isn't happening on this show.

This show has had exceptional story lines in the past that did not involve Victor and my perspective is that it was and continues to be a big mistake to have one aging actor figuring so prominently into virtually every storyline.

As far as it goes, Victor Newman is not now, nor has he ever been, the only reason I watched the show.
