Grey's Anatomy-Season Finale -SPOILERS!

I am so glad that April had a healthy baby, and that all turned out well.I am sad to see Callie leave the show, but I understand wanting to try different things,I hope she is successful, but I did read that Shona Rimes said she always has a family there.It will be interesting to see if all goes well with Amelia's wedding...What did you all think?

After last night I was hoping that Callie and Arizona would get back together. Loved Bailey and Ben at the end when she told him he saved 2 lives. Jo has a lot of splaining to do to Alex!!! I was cringing when April was screaming in pain, her performance last nite was Emmy worthy.

Read 2 versions of the finale were shot. In one Callie died. When this was leaked the public was not happy so the end was reshot. Faithful viewers were tired of death in the season finale.

Jo being married to a super charismatic abuser and living under a false name is a bit far-fetched.

I agree about the cesarian scene, it was brutally realistic. As for the acting, Shonda does not hire bad actors.

I'm stuck on Gray's and have missed very few episodes. It is weird that the actors who leave do not find success elsewhere. I never watched St. Elsewhere as I was still working full time then and had too much to do at night to be able to watch TV, but as far as I'm concerned no other medical show can match Gray's.

I do see the end coming though but I don't think it will be with Gray permanently hooking up with anyone. I like the new doc, but my bet is she will never marry him. I don't think anyone can replace McDreamy in her heart. Plus she's too strong for any man.

Just happened to see a snipette on Callie this morning. I am amazed that she's leaving, but a lot of the characters have. But I wish them well, I don't see them in other things much, but maybe it's their choices. Character actors though want to play different characters. Makes sense to me.

I agree, where are Sandra Oh, Patrick Dempsey and Katherine Heigl these days?? Ellen Pompeo is smart for hanging sround, so are Justin Chambers and Chandra Wilson. .

I saw Katherine Heigl in a cat litter commercial the other day. Yes, cat litter. She's highly obnoxious from what I've read.

I agree, she has a bad reputation for being difficult, and so does her mom, who is her manager, so that could contribute to her not getting many roles.

The Caeserean in the finale reminded me of something similar in Private Practice, when one of the characters had her baby stolen in that way. That was a lot more horrific.

Overall, it was a great finale, especially compared to some of the other shows whose finales haven't been all that great.

Amelia's wedding dress was so soft and flowing, just lovely. And she looked especially lovely as well.

I thought Amelia (who is one of my least favorite characters) looked absiolutely beautiful and so was her gown. I also think it is pretty obvious that as soon as Meredith and Riggs hook up (or she tries to back out for her sister, who is the other one of my least favorite characters), but it won't matter because, of course, the presumed dead wife/Owen's sister will be back. It also seems like, from reading the comments here, that not many people realize that Sara Ramirez (Callie) is a very accomplished Broadway musical theater performer, who should have no problem finding other opportunities. It was nice to see a Grey's finale that didn't leave a lot of people dead for a change.

I always thought Amelia was beautiful on Private Practice. She is also a terrific actress, her character went thru quite a lot on PP.

I actually had already thought that Jo was probably married; I guess I read too many romances as a young adult where Jo's situation is not an uncommon theme. I like Grey's Anatomy, but I don't think the writers would win any awards for originality. Sarah Drew has turned in some amazing performances both last season and this season. In some ways, she's the break-out star of the newer cast members. I still miss the deadpan acerbic wit of Sandra Oh's portrayal of Christina Yang.

Jo,Amelia, & Edwards...can't stand any of them...I was hoping Amelia would run away and never come back.....sorry Callie is leaving but they changed her character so much this season I was not liking her at all and glad Blake is gone, hopefully forever.

I still want Meredith with Alex.....maybe on the series finale it will finally happen....he would be a great Dad to her kids....Maggie acts more like a teenager to me than a responsible adult DR......

My thoughts, exactly, @mishka14. I don't like any of those three, plus I totally agree about Maggie. She appears to be incapable of having an adult thought or conversation, much less be a respected surgeon. I do love Alex and just want him to find a healthy relationship - for once in his life! No more lies, no more nutcases. I am not sure if he and Mereditth will be end game, but I am sure it's NOT doing to be the new guy, Riggs. I like him so far, but I am sure his "dead" wife will return.

I seldom watch the show (every now and then, bits and pieces). I have seen the theme where he asks that girl to marry him over and over and she says now.

After the second or third time I figured out she was probably already pregnant. A no brainer.

Meredith gets on my last nerve. She acts like she is the Queen Bee of the world. She isn't a very good friend to anyone.

Alex is my favorite, he has come a long way,he is very protected of Meridith,I was not likeing callie this year either. She barely new that lady dr. and she caused so much trouble,I am unhappy that Arizona is letting her take the daughter,that is a disapointment.Also Callie was very mean to the lady doctor so who says she would want her back?Iam glad the baby is ok and i hope the parents get back together [forgetting names,sorry].that was a horrific birth scene I closed my eyes.Tucka.

I have watched every show since day one. I think because there are so many characters to build story lines around that it keeps it from getting boring. A lot of shows I like for a season or two and then get bored. However, I would like them to let Karev get happy and not be miserable for a while. I did not like the story of him beating up that guy. I don't care for his girlfriend. She is not that likeable to me.
