The Good Wife Spinoff

CBS has announced that there will definitely be a new spin-off of The Good Wife with Christine Baranski and Cush Jumbo. Unfortunately, it will only be available on CBS All Access. It's a digital subscription service. I've never heard of it. I wish it was going to be on network TV.

They should have put this show in the Good Wife's time slot. I think a lot

of people would have continued to follow these characters. I really like both of

these actresses.

If I have to pay for that service, I'll never see the show. They both play strong characters and are great actresses but I'm not going to pay to the show.

I would have loved this, but will not pay to see the show.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know how you would go about subscribing to CBS All Access? So many things happening with technology today, I am lost.

I totally agree with all of you. If it was worth it, I wouldn't mind paying for it, but I don't think it's worth paying for it AT ALL!!

I predict it will be a flop.

i have CBS All Access, because I don't currently have a TV. My ancient one died and i found it more practical to invest in a decent laptop. Not only that, I know that CbS shows don't always stream through a cable carrier.

I watch CBS a lot. Big Bang Theory, (The Good Wife when it was on) Criminal MInds, Blue Bloods and am also able to watch local news. They also have a lot of classic shows. Some live programming isn't avaliable.

It was $6.99 a month, which is a lot more affordable then Sling. You can stream from laptop, phone or tablet.

I will definitely watch the show. Who knows? If it is good enough, they may move it to broadcast TV.

Actually, I think Elspeth would have been a good series. She's brilliant with enough qurkiness to lighten things up. I do like that actress.

Carrie Preston is in the new sitcom, Crowded, if it is still on the air, it premiered a few months ago, and yes, I read, she is a possibility for new online show, but I sure hope her ex hubby on the show is not.

Carrie was starring on another series recently which was cancelled after only a few episodes.

@Annabellethecat66 It's interesting that they would consider a spin-off with her. Elsbeth wasn't one of my favorites on The Good Wife, but a lot of people must have really liked her. I would probably start watching it to see what I thought, but wouldn't get really excited about it. I didn't like her ex-husband at all.

CBS's All Access App is very reasonable imo and you can access their live programming as well.
