What Gift Card Would A 14 Year Old Girl Want

Hi Moms,

I got a gift tag off the Christmas tree at Church for a 14 year old girl and it says gift card but I don't know what gift card to get as my children are grown and married and I have no grandchildren as of yet. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

A gift card for Best Buy or a fast food restaurant is also a possibility.

@cuddlesmama - IMO you can't go wrong with Target.

Popular this year is the multi store card. "Holiday Favorites " includes a lot of choices for teen girls, especially Ulta, Lululemon, etc. They can be used at any of the stores listed on them.

But I know for a fact they like Target.

I would give her a Visa or American Express cash card. She can then decide where to spend the gift.

If it's for someone at your local church you know what stores are in the area. If there is a Target then I think they would carry so much that would appeal to a 14 year old.

@SandySparkles Honestly I have 2 grandgirls and only 1 likes a pro manicure and neither would want a pedicure.

A Visa card is best. Can be used anywhere

I get mani-pedis monthly; sometimes bi-monthly depending on the time of year, and see so many young girls with their mothers and friends in the salon. They always appear to be enjoying the experience.😊

I would suggest a Visa gift card if you have no idea if the actual need is a coat, shoes, clothes or a "want" like makeup.

I imagine the tree is for those with need.

So many of the great options offered here are not available in my area, therefore I would have gone with Wal-Mart or McDonalds.

Even my five year old grand loves Target giftcards. We bought her one for her bday in October and then took her to the store. She has no real concept of how much she could buy with the card but she absolutely loved racing back and forth in the toy dept and picking things out. I also bought her a few things to wear, since I know with a gift card at Target, no way she is running to the clothing dept!
I have eight granddaughters from age 3 to 20.....gift cards they like: Sephora, Ulta, Target, Old Navy, Amazon, Chick Fil-A, WM, and Famous Footwear.
