Sizing observation in D&C tsv

Does anyone else have problems with a lot of Denim & Co. clothing being too tight around the hip area as the TSV has looked on all the show hosts? I really want to order this in size L, but it sure looks tight across where I have problems with D&C if they are not like a handkerchief or peplum style hem or have side vents. Do y'all think I am incorrect in thinking this has looked tight across hip area on the hosts?

I buy D&C tops to fit my chest, according to the actual garment measurements. I've bought hundreds of tops. I've never bought one that was too tight through the hips. Its probably your proportions that are different from the average. Since they don't list hip measurements on tops, its hard to judge whether they will fit, I'm sure.

The garment measurement chart shows the measurement of the bottom opening. Look at the chart and see the measurement for Bottom Open Circumference at Edge. That measurement will tell you how it will fit around your hips where it falls according to the length (Front Body Length on the chart).

ETA- I'm surprised they didn't put side slits in the top. They usually do.

i think since they have added 4x and 5x, the other sizes have decreased about 1inch, to make up for the larger sizes. i find it in d&c, graver and isaac clothing.

The sweatshirt didn't look too generous and it did need side slits.
